What a magical place! They have something called the Ploughmen's platter which is meat, cheese pickles, preserves and is so delightful. They also have some of the best cocktails in the city. I'd say tied for first with Gigglewater. There are so many great creative twists on classics and then completely new cocktails as well. The owner and brain behind the cocktails is a wealth of knowledge. My girlfriend and I were there the other night and got to try a lot of delicious cocktails, get advice from him for making cocktails at home and he made modified cocktails for us with spirits we were really curious to try. Great cocktails, friendly/knowledgeable service. Small, quiet spot on King East. We’ve been coming to this place for years. The owner is still there, which is great to see. Their menu and drinks continue to evolve, always interesting stuff. I like every drink I’ve tried there. My partner used to love their tea-based cocktails and mocktails.
