Heard this is one of the best spots for poutine in Toronto. NomNomNom is one of my favorites for their cheese curds and good fresh cut fries. My top spot is Poutineville then La Banquise in Quebec. Saw the 5 star rating which I've never seen before and went out of my way to try it. Got the Thursday Special, Smash Burger + Classic Poutine+ Pop. Also got a large classic poutine with extra cheese ($2.99) for later (I should have got a specialty poutine, same price!). $34 tax in for Smash Burger Slider, 1 regular classic poutine, 1 large classic poutine with extra curds, and one pop can.

Service is fairly slow, only one person was doing everything, but that's alright the wait wasn't bad. There's a couple tables to eat, place is clean, staff are friendly.

The food was a really big let down, tasted like Costco food court fries with Harvey's gravy/cheese, which is much cheaper. The poutine tastes like pub style Cavendish fries, with regular gravy and regular grocery store cheese curds. The cheese curds has 0 squeak to them and had no real taste. I regret buying a large size for later, just ate it for the sake of it, didn't enjoy. The portions are pretty small too but the containers looks big. Lots of gravy, gravy is nice and hot, melts the curds.

The Smash Burger is pretty good, good toppings, very generous amount of shredded cheese, the bun is the regular cheap Dempster's one. A different type of sauce and/or salt might help with the flavor, but for the price it's a good burger. Using a brioche bun or just a sesame seed bun would be nice.

Overall I wouldn't go back, the poutine I tried was definitely something I could make taste wise or get at costco for a lower price. Honestly would have been happier ordering a harvey's burger combo and upgrading to a poutine there. Wasted $34 and disappointed that people think this is the best poutine in Toronto, felt very misled by these reviews. Very confused by the pricing too, why is the classic poutine the same price as all the other specialty poutine with toppings? In all fairness the price for the specialty poutines with toppings is pretty reasonable, I would have liked to give them a shot, but can't see myself taking another...

Perfect five stars across the board. The shop may seem small but the flavors they serve are big.

I’m a tourist from Las Vegas, meaning I don’t have that much poutine, and if I do I usually get the classic. However, as soon as I tried the Butter Chicken Poutine, my tastebuds were lifted to an upper echelon of flavor. The taste, the cheese, the unmistakable butter chicken sauce complemented everything so well that I felt compelled enough to write this review, coming from someone who almost never writes reviews.

The service was very friendly and desirable, good point of sale experience, good follow-ups, good actions to make things right in case something went wrong (in which everything went perfectly right.) I haven’t had much poutine, but I know that this place is my new benchmark to compare other poutineries with when I return to Toronto.

With where it’s at, and what they serve, I can genuinely call this perfection for everything I’ve received and experienced....

Here, poutine is the king, and not an afterthought. The butter chicken poutine was easily the best in Toronto, with a base of crispy fries, an aromatic butter chicken, and topped with freshly diced tomato, onions and lettuce. Unlike other places, you have the option of small, regular, or large. Handy, when you don't want to eat two meals at once.

The smash burger was decent. The beef is a greasier cut, and lacks the internal spice blend of Five Guy's or Mikey's Smash Burgers. Unusually for a burger, the toppings are also diced. It's clear that they grab from the same toppings as the poutines. For an extra $3.20, I got a few crumbles of bacon on top, which was a little disappointing for the cost.

Upturned metal drums comprise the outdoor seating area, with enough space for four people each. A canopy keeps out the sun.

For the small poutine and burger, I paid $27. There are much better daily combination deals posted on the side, if you can...

"Wow". We couldn't help but repeat that same word while devouring our meals. My Partner and I demolished a Butter chicken with mixed cheese and Meatlovers with curd. After placing our order with the lovely fellow from Nepal, we watched as he meticulously assembled the masterpieces in the pictures. Confirming our cheese options, you could see the genuine pride in his smile as he handed over the completed dishes. Exceptional butter chicken, something I would devour by itself; mix in chippies, cheese and their speciality sauce and you have a dangerous creation that can't be topped. With a healthy serving of each, cheese, speciality sauce and butter chicken, I felt the portion of each bite was perfectly mixed with ingredients, sometimes with that sweet bite of tomato or soft crunch of onion. 6/5 my partner said it perfectly. "when we get back home (overseas), this will be the meal I will think back to."
