Briefly looked at the overall review of this place and chose it over some of the nearby competitors. What a mistake! Terribly disappointed in their drink offerings and the lady was not very accommodating or nice about fixing my drink. When you think of brown sugar bbt, it’s normally sweet and flavourful. What was offered from the visual picture from the menu is NOTHING like what I got. I got the brown sugar with milk and it was legit just the brown sugar syrup from the tapioca and MILK. It was barely sweet and tbh I was incredibly annoyed I spent $7 for what tasted like milk with a hint of sweetness from the tapioca. I will definitely not...

My family and I tried Hey Niu Niu for the first time and really liked it! The lady at the counter was really nice and patiently answered our questions. We ordered the sakura lychee w/ aiyu jelly, honey longan pomelo tea w/ tapioca, and the peach four seasons oolong tea w/ grass jelly, and all three drinks were great! We couldn’t change the sweetness levels on the first two drinks but they weren’t too sweet for us. I was surprised by how good the tapioca was - it was perfectly soft and chewy. I think this little shop has good potential! It's actually part of a semi-large chain in China and has been "Canadianized" branding-wise for the local market.

The coconut jelly here is pretty damn good but, as a bubble tea shop, the milk tea and tapioca qualities are at best so-so, and thisbis the barometer by which I compare boba shops.

In addition their branding consistency and marketing seems all over the place, which isn't great. Having said that, the service was pleasant and the location us convenient...
