The teas have good flavour but are comparable to other tea places in the area. TLDR: instead go to Hero Tea or ChaHalo, which are both across the street. Same quality tea, WAY WAY WAY better service and wait times.
Hereās ALL the bad:
My god the service here is absolutely awful. From the moment you walk in, there is a confusing line system that doesnāt properly separate the order line from the waiting line. It leads to people piling into the entrance area and clogging up what little space exists because itās not clear where youāre supposed to go to line up to order.
The menu and ordering process is a complete gongshow. There only 1 menu in front of the cash register, so you canāt even see what their menu is as youāre lining up. Theres multiple TVs all over the place, and NONE of them even show the menu.
Once youāre at the front of the line youāll notice that thereās no pictures of anything on the actual menu, and better yet, thereās also no descriptions of anything lmfao. Your cashier is asking me what my order is and I havenāt even had time to look at, let alone decipher what your confusing menu sells. It shouldnāt be this hard to order something so simple.
When we tried to ask the cashier what something was:
We couldnāt hear him because the cash register is weirdly on an elevated platform. He has to bend over and yell because of the distance and the noise in the store.
He doesnāt understand the menu himself when we asked him what something was, so he had to ask his colleague.
The cash register is way understaffed. You absolutely need to have more than 1 person at the front with the volume you have, or have multiple order kiosks (there were none). Iām not downloading an app to order a bubble tea.
After youāre doing ordering, they donāt even announce it when your drink is ready. Instead they display the order on an order board. They make no effort to hand you your drink when itās ready, instead relying on one person that you have to talk to in order to see if your drink is actually ready. By the way, we waited 15 minutes š
Overall this place is run horribly and it doesnāt deserve your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEmmm so forgot to write a review, and rlly donāt enjoy writing bad reviews, but like mannn this was super disappointing⦠I went during the opening, so it was quite crowded, I remember that I waited in line close to the doors (specifically 4:47pm-6:38pm), which was freezing. Like I get that itās the opening so I did expect a huge line, but the whole waiting for drink process was a mess, where you have to constantly remind them of your drink so they actually donāt forget to make it?? Also tell me why did I get charged extra for the cloud on the ācloud crisp grapeā?? And they also told me they ran out of the purple grapes, so that took them a while, which could have been on the screens, so we would know while weāre waiting to order something else or such, and again, they said the cloud would charge $2-$3 from what I remember, like I thought I was ordering ācloud crisp grapeā, so that should be included in the price, since the drink is already so expensive?? But since I already waited for so long, I agreed to it, but in general thereās not a lot of flavor to the drink and it was a huge let down, which was disappointing, cuz I was so excited, since I had hey tea in Guangzhou, but the two are so...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday was my first time visiting this Bubble Tea place, and hereās my honest review.
First of all, I was lucky there was no line, because I often pass by this spot and itās usually busy. Today was the first time I actually managed to get in.
When I ordered my drink, I specifically asked if it came with any toppings, and I was told it didnāt. So I added Brown Sugar Pearls for an extra $1.50 ā which, to be honest, is way overpriced. Thatās about twice as much as in other places.
In the end, the drink already had some tapioca pearls in it, so I basically overpaid for something I didnāt need. The total came to a bit over $10, even though the base price of the drink was $7.99.
As for the interior ā itās beautiful, probably the only thing that deserves one star.
The staff inside were shouting so loudly that I thought Iād lose my hearing. If you sit near the pick-up counter, be prepared to leave half-deaf.
Would I come back? I doubt it. For this price, I can get a much better drink that actually matches its value. Unfortunately, this one didnāt.
Pros: nice interior. Cons: extremely loud, poor communication, overpriced, long lines, and the taste is...
