We did the Digital Escape, and I don’t think I’ve had less fun in an escape room. The premise relies heavily on computerized cues and you spend half the game as a group staring silently at a screen while incredibly loud audio clips play. It was less trying to escape a room and more trying to figure out how to play a new video game (without instructions) by mashing all the buttons….but with more lag. At the end, the last puzzle was incredibly stupid and even when explained we just asked to leave. All this would have been tolerable, but the music was so loud it was actually unpleasant to be in the room. There are so many good escape rooms in this town (like Casa Loma), do yourself a favor and escape even going to this room. Having done 30+ escape rooms, this is the second worst one I’ve ever done.

The first puzzle was broken so they had to get us to redo it several times to move on. Production quality overall was very poor. None of the puzzles are logical problem solving, they just require brute force or random guessing. There were several elements that were just tedious and boring rather than challenging or entertaining.

Probably the worst part was that the room was big enough for 2 people to enjoy at MOST and it’s rated for up to 4 (we had a group of 4). This meant that two of us were just standing around at any given time while others worked. There just wasn’t enough space or enough puzzles to go around.

We tried the Digital Rescue escape room. It was very fun but slightly slow paced with the animations. However it was nothing like i expected because it had everything digitalised and connected very well. I would although prefer something more polished because it is extremely expensive. We were 3 and able to finish the puzzle with 1-2 hints. We were stuck at the very last step for 30 minutes and the staff agreed that last part feels very difficult so they might change it. It was fun but is it worth the 60 bucks per person? Not too sure. The staff were really friendly and nice. It is definitely really good for first time players that are new to...
