Was going to go to slurp next door but this place looked much cleaner and newer. They also had the noodles in the heat retaining clay pot instead of a normal bowl which I liked. I got the spicy broth with braised beef. The beef was tough and inedible but I loved the spicy broth and added veggies so much that I didn't mind. I would definitely go back and try some of their other proteins like shrimp paste of beef roll or crispy pork. The slippery rice noodles go down so easily I can eat the entire bowl in one sitting and wonder if I can get more noodles.

Also got the garlic seaweed which is a little sweeter than I'd like. Adding their hot sauce or some more black vinegar would make it...

I somehow made it right before the rush. It was my first time here and the guy who worked there was really nice and went through my questions and suggestions 😆 ended up choosing the braised pork soup and it’s SOO GOOD.

I know it’s like pork belly so it’s supposed to be soft but it’s REALLY soft, like falls apart level. I got it with mild spice and it was perfect.

The more I ate the more surprised I came across because I wasn’t expecting so many things in there. Tripe, lettuce, quail eggs, mushroom, been curd, kelp etc etc. it just kept coming. It’s in a small pot but man I was barely able to fish. And for a really good price!
