I would give this a zero star Do not go to this place ... it's a rip off

I'm a Indian.. who visited from Australia. We were craving for some Indian food after a long flight. Staying art the Hilton.. walked passed this place that had Indian food. Already 9pm.. did not have much choice. So walked in. Place is filthy.. but that still did not stop us ordering. Ordered lamb vindaloo Nan Biryani Lassi Jamun.. The food was so un indian.. that i felt ashamed eating it. The owner.. old..unhygenic old man thinks his doing us a favor by Opening this shop. He gave me 6 pieces of meat..for 7.99 dollars.. I went back and said pls.. charge me more if u have to but i need more meat. He charged me 5 dollars on top of that. Spend 35 bucks... in total.

After eating.. wanted to wash my hands... Went at the back kitchen.

Greasy.. oily.. disgusting kitchen just like the owner. He is such old school. This guy should retire. I have 4 fast food druve thru Restaurants in Australia and if this is the standard in food that we Indians are giving in another country. No wonder this business.. is not making money. We finished about 9.55 pm... and I'll tell you one thing. The cook cleaner had gone home. The food display still had food... This food was not going to be thrown away. I guarantee it or even get cleaned by this old man.

Looks like he spends all day and night there. Worn out. Work on your business not in your business

Wake up you stupid...arrogant old...

I've been visiting this place since quite some time now,so decided to drop a review!

I just had Tandoori Chicken with Naan, and Chicken Biryani, both of them being pretty good on its preparation and spice level, the Tandoori Chicken being a little better in its taste and texture and also the spicy sauce that they provide with the Tandoori Chicken is really satisfyingly spicy,as one would expect the spicy sauce to be!

Also, the two men in there are super hospitable, polite and well spoken🫡

Keep it up,gentlemen!🙏🏻🫡

This place should be visited atleast once if you're around Yonge and Dundas Street,Toronto!🤗😍🫡🥲

(Note:Just a minor edit, after 7 months of this review🙈😅,This is a place owned by Bangladeshi men, however, they serve good food, well spoken, and with good delivery of food,so doesn't matter...but just be aware, not all restaurants titled "Indian...blah blah blah!" are Indian,so kindly do not generalise if you have a bad experience at some place titled Indian-something,something restaurant...

This place deserves a one star. It is decently clean. Currently eating here as I write the review.

The rice is super dry, had a bunch of hard pieces in it. The sauces with the meats are very oily, or stowaway the spicy boneless one.

When I talked to the younger lad (The nephew ) he said a platter comes with rice, nan, your choice of meat and 2 veggies. The uncle came over after he finished his prayers, didn’t wash his hands and served me. When he was handing me the meal after I payed, I asked where the nan bread was, he said you had to choose one.

Lack of communication here. Also if anyone wants to eat here don’t come during COVID at least. The uncle did his prayers and never washed his hands. Also nobody uses masks or any type of facial protection.

The somas are okay, I’d give them a 2/5. But overall I didn’t enjoy...

Indian Biriany House is the best restaurant I have ever seen in downtown Toronto. Recently I tried Haleem recipe from this restaurant, it was very delicious & fantastic. They also produce best Garlic naan. Garlic naan is amazing, It was very tasty comparing to the other restaurant. As a side drink , I choose mango smoothie or, sweet lassi. The taste of these drinks 🥤 are definitely awesome. Apart from this, their customer service is great & praiseworthy. If I had a chance to rate over 5 star, then obviously I would do that. I would highly recommend this restaurant if anyone want fresh & authentic food for their lunch or, dinner 👌🏻. & also their food items are 💯 % halal. ❤️
