Hello Google review readers. I must share my experience with IBeT Sushi. They are a true gem for those who appreciate authentic Japanese sushi. One thing to note upfront: their sushi leans more towards traditional Japanese preparation, with a minimal rice layer that highlights the freshness and flavor of the filling. For those accustomed to Western-style sushi with thicker rice, this might feel different, and some have mentioned the rice falling apart a bit more easily. However, this delicate wrapping is intentional and reflects the lighter, more refined style of Japanese sushi.

We tried the IBeT Sushi Boat and the Spider Roll (softshell crab), and both were fantastic. The freshness of the fish was undeniable, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The Spider Roll had a crispy softshell crab that was complemented by just the right amount of seasoning. Each bite was an experience in flavor and texture.

Beyond the food, the service was absolutely top-notch—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. It’s clear that they care about their craft and their customers.

If you’re looking for sushi that emphasizes quality and authenticity over quantity, IBeT Sushi is the place to go. Just be prepared for a different style than the thick, rice-heavy rolls you might find elsewhere. It’s all about the balance, and they’ve mastered...

I was already excited to have a new sushi place in the neighbourhood, but a place that's got extremely sweet service, great prices (especially these days) and generous portions is deeply exciting. We ordered four rolls, tempura, and miso soup, and our bill came to just over $40 before tip. The tempura was light and crispy, a little greasy (but when isn't it?). The rolls were delicious, and packed with great ingredients. Even the avocado roll had a light coating of rice, with the 'cado just bursting out, reaching for freedom. I particularly liked the tilapia and green onion roll - a pleasant and refreshing surprise. The staff were friendly and kind (despite us being those customers that show up an hour before closing), service was fast, and they checked in regularly. Highly recommended for your belly, your wallet, and your general sense of goodwill...

Ibet sushi has a great selection of sushi for low prices. I was pleased at the portion size of my Ugani Donbrui & the little sides it came with.

Although their selection of rolls may not be as big as other restaurants, the quality of the food speaks for itself. I also liked that the majority of the Maki rolls can also be ordered as a hand roll.

Service was quick, the food was delicious, and the employees were kind and friendly, making the overall atmosphere warm and welcoming.

Definitely a great spot that I will be coming back to sometime...
