The service at Ichiban Sushi House was truly outstanding. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The interior was beautifully done, this newly renovated restaurant adds a fantastic vibe to the neighborhood.

We started our meal with a selection of appetizers, and each one was a delightful treat, cooked to perfection. For our main course, we opted for the Sashimi Only Boat, which was a true showcase of freshness and quality. It featured a variety of exquisite selections, including albacore tuna, blue fin tuna, mackerel, uni, scallops, squid and more.

I came here solo for lunch and ordered the tempura udon. The food and atmosphere was decent, but my order wasn't as described on the menu. It was to include 3 pieces of veggies and 2 shrimps, but instead I got 2 pieces of veg and 1 shrimp.

When I pointed it out to the waitress I was given an odd number of reasons - printing mistake, item changed that day, son's fault, no one's complained before, and sometimes it's 3 veg or 2 depending on the size. She also gave me a few reassuring pats on the back which made me feel a bit awkward.

Even though, this is a Korean restaurant. The flavor was good. I tried the Eel domburi, Tonkotsu Ramen, and one sushi roll. Also, the portions are balanced with the price. One thing that was funny, the old middle aged lady said to me: Don’t combine the soy sauce with the Ramen (I assumed that a lot of people just combine everything). For me, that’s a good detail, because she was worried about how to ideally eat japanese food. I will strongly recommend this restaurant for people who want to spend a cozy time with their family.
