I feel so fortunate to live near Delina Restaurant in the Beach area of Toronto. It’s truly a hidden gem—a place where you can always count on fresh, healthy, and absolutely delicious food. Whenever I’m too lazy to cook but still crave something wholesome, Delina is always a great choice.

This family-run spot serves up incredible Middle Eastern-style dishes, all prepared fresh daily. I usually go for one of their combo plates, where you can mix and match from a variety of options. The portions are incredibly generous, and the prices are just as satisfying.

While there are a few tables for dining in, Delina is mostly geared towards take-out. Over time, I’ve gotten to know the staff—the mother, who is the owner, and her daughters. They’re such kind, hardworking, and genuinely welcoming people. It’s always a pleasure to chat with them when I stop by.

I was thrilled to hear that they recently opened a second location. Honestly, they deserve every bit of success that comes their way. It’s rare to find a place that not only serves fantastic food but also makes you feel like part of the family. I truly hope that as they grow, they hold on to that special magic that makes Delina such a beloved spot in the community.

If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and check it out—you won’t be...

what a gem of a find 🥰 had a cravimg for shawarma and Delina happened to be nearby. Having never been before, I was anticipating something typical of an average shawarma takeout place. but the second I walked in, I knew this was something special. The aroma, the presentation of the dishes, the friendly atmosphere... immediately set this place apart. Ordered a chicken and a beef wrap, to eat outside on the benches. Absolutely delicious, and definitely a class above the usual takeout place. While we ate outside, a few local regulars came by and chatted with us. They all essentially pointed out how great the food was, how this was their favourite local standby, how pleased they were to see the restaurant survived through COVID....

after this one visit, I can easily see why it's held in such high regard. will definitely come back when we're in the...

I went before during covid & it was decent so i thought id try it again.

I got take out, starving, got home & the firat bite, i crunched down on what felt like sand & I pulled out a peice of dull glass!

It was pretty off putting to say the least, but was so hungry & tired, so i continued eating & prayed it was just one peice. 😵‍💫🙏

Got through without another incident but The meat was a bit salty & I also think they used old lemons or something in their recipes because the hummus & tahini was bitter, so im glad i got those on the side which i didnt eat & the hotsauce was really hot so i didnt eat that either, but. The garlic sauce tasted good & i also got that on the side too.

Id go back for the salads, but i hope they read this and figure out where that glass came from & check the frshness of their...

Old school concept, menu isn't on a digital screen. Everything is pre-cooked so fish, veggies, rice, chicken and beef is all warmed up in the same microwave so if you have an allergy let them know. One of the staff was wearing open foot flip flops, that is so dangerous when in a kitchen, sharp items, hot oil and food can do some serious damage to feet. The order that was placed was large, but took a long time. Food was decent and there was a good flow of customers, coming in and out of the restaurant. There is a high top table that seats maybe 4 people facing the street through a large window and a bench adjacent outside at the front of the restaurant. First time here, I would go again the food was decent. I would likely check out the area for more restaurants first and being Queen St. there are plenty of them.

Delina was such a fabulous health conscious find with the plate combo allowing you to select a number of dishes and sides. Many items seem like they would be ideal to accommodate dietary concerns like vegan, vegetarian, keto, paleo, celiac and others. I would check specifically if you have any allergies or restrictions. The food all looks fresh and made with amazing healthy ingredients and soothe both your soul and hunger. The woman behind the counter was so patient and kind with each customer and they had a constant flow of traffic. Happy to eat here again and support this amazing restaurant in the beaches.

My boyfriend and I tried Delina for the first time and it did not disappoint. I got the falafel plate with quinoa, beets, and chickpeas. My boyfriend got the mixed plate with tabule, rice, potato, and carrots. We both got hummus, tahini, and garlic sauce. We forgot to mention that we were dining in, but that was our mistake. They would have served our food on plates instead. Portion sizes are worth the price. Everything was delicious and fresh, we would definitely eat there again! The ladies there were also really nice and welcoming.
