After a 7-hour bus trip from Montreal, we were craving for some sushi. We found this place online and since it had good reviews, we decided to give it a try. This restaurant was even better than expected, our expectations were already pretty high given the good reviews, but it still surpassed them.

The staff were so friendly even though we came here just to do takeaway. They made our wait as comfortable as possible by giving us chocolate and hot green tea (since it was windy and cold outside). We had a kind and friendly chat with the boss/chef which made us feel very much at ease.

Most importantly, the food was amazing too! We had two sashimi bentos for a very reasonable price. We were told that it would take a little bit longer to prepare (in the end it took maybe only ten minutes or so), but it was prepared right in front of your eyes, so it didn't feel like a burden at all.

I recently dined at this sushi restaurant and it absolutely deserves all the stars on Google review— the freshness of the ingredients, with each piece of sashimi and sushi bursting with flavor. The service was fast and very attentive staff. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy. As for the cost, it was incredibly reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes offered. I particularly enjoyed the SS1, which featured an assortment of 7 sashimi and 7 sushi, although I was a bit unsure about the chicken it comes with. Additionally, their dinner bento boxes were generously packed and provided a satisfying meal.

One thing that stood out though was their wasabi—it had a fresh taste that's difficult to describe, unlike the numbing spiciness of store-bought wasabi. Used to be a regular customer until they started grossly overcharging for their sushi. Not only do they overcharge now, they STILL haven't updated their website to reflect the price adjustments and would not charge me by the prices I saw online. Needless to say, I was not happy to be confronted with a higher bill than was expected when I arrived to pick up my order. When I mentioned it to them, they didn't seem to care and proceeded hand me the bill with the extra charge.
