Jacky's Seafood — Restaurant in Toronto

Food and price is fine. Service is pretty terrible. We ordered 9 dishes and one never came after an hour. We followed up and was told it takes time to fry. After another 15 mins we follow up again and got the same response, to which we said then just cancel it since we're not going to wait any longer. When we got the bill, it was not an itemized receipt so we asked to make sure we weren't charged for that dish. The waitress was rude and defensive when we asked her to double check. The whole restaurant smelled like cigarettes shortly after we started eating. Pretty sure it's because they let people smoke inside their VIP room at the back. Got a headache after our dinner. We ordered a lamb stew. It wasn't even hot when it came, we had to ask them to heat it up more. They brought out a hot pot stove, which is fine. But why wasn't it served hot...

Food taste is good but they recently shrink their dish portion too much! Even for cauliflower dish which I think should'nt be that expensive veggie, the portion is too small now. The service is really not good at all when they get busy. We made reservations a week ago but when we got there, we still wait together with other walk-in customers. We waited for 45 mins to be seated even when we had a reservation. When I asked them why there is no difference and the lady at the front desk was very rude and yelled at us saying everyone has to wait. The male waiter just pushed us away as we were standing in his way when we were waiting. We were old customers for so many years but now we are going to find other places for seafood now. It can definetly provide better service if you are...

Food quality is decent. Services is really poor. We came as a family of 3, and we waited for a table for 15 minutes. There was a large table in the restaurant at that time, so I understand they will be served first. What annoys me was we ordered 3 bowl of rice after our dish came, the first server heard our order but never came back, so we tried with the another server, also did not come back, so after the 3rd server we were finally informed there was no rice.

Our dining time was almost 2 hours, and there are better Cantonese style restaurants in Scarborough. My family and I can not...
