This board game cafe has a decent selection of games. My friends and I were playing coup a few nights ago, and noticed that the cards are a bit messy - as in the different decks were all mixed up, and some pieces were missing from some of the sets we were looking at. They also have a large menu selection of foods and drinks. Unfortunately, I was unsatisfied with my drink. I ordered a mango slush and was quite disappointed of the quality of the drink. Noting that I did order a slush, the slush was overly icey and felt like eating ice rather than having a drink. My friend had a similar occurrence where the quality of their drink was quite poor as the drink lacked flavour. Lastly, I would like to note that there is a MINIMUM $6 fee/2 hours for all games. This was quite disappointing as we had less than the 2 hours allotted to play due to closing hours (approx. 1 hour), and there wasn’t a discount in the fee. Something to note if you ever choose to visit during or near closing hours.

Not planning to revisit this place. Every time i visit they have changes in their pricing. First time i visited, they said board game is free as long as everyone orders at least one food/beverage. Second time i visit, doesnt matter what you order you now have to pay $6 per person to play. Last time i visited they changed again and now there’s time limit and if you exceed the two hours you have to pay $3 extra. They keep trying to get more money from customers and they do this so visible i don’t feel happy to return. There’s many board game cafes we can go. Why bother coming… :( plus their menu weren’t great either. The bread dessert was so dry and tasteless. Fries was the best dish out of all and those are frozen fries from supermarket so how can you go wrong. Their bubble tea was so sweet to even tho i picked the minimum sugar level. Maybe their other dishes are ok. To think of it, their ramen last time was not bad. I like that they open until 1am.

I enjoyed a decadent and plentiful 5 course meal while my friend sat there for 59 minutes waiting for a strawberry bubble waffle. We decided to leave since it's was 1:30am and we were eepy, and as we got to the counter to pay they put the plate out and said it was ready. He said "oh well I've kind of been here waiting for like an hour and a half, I need to go home" and they said "nah, only 59 minutes". But isn't that still an absurd amount of time to wait for a measly bubble waffle? Meanwhile I wrapped up my feast for the ages of takoyaki, popcorn chicken, milk tea, and even my own bubble waffle. The sad confection was packed in some decrepit sarcophagus and was entirely melted by the end of the 8 minute car ride home. Twilight Cafe? More like order your food at midnight and get it tomorrow morning.

The system they use for purchasing food and drinks was a little confusing - you only order from the table, the online app is set up differently than the physical menu so it takes time to find the item you want, and you pay for everything, including the entry fee they now charge, at the end. I recommend not using the physical menu and just using the app.

However, that is the last critical thing I can say about this wonderful place! The food is excellent, priced a little high but within a reasonable range for the quality they serve. The little snack cup is genius for someone like me who wants a little protein and a treat while you play. Staff is very friendly and helpful, wait time flies by while you're playing games. COVID protocols are clear and respected.

Selection is a little tight compared to other places with room for multiple bookshelves, but still quite inclusive! They have all the classics and a ton of newer or indie games. They even have international versions of several games! Everything is color coded for fast and easy identification of 2 player, etc games. It is clear that great thought and care has been put into every aspect of this place. I will definitely be back, and I will definitely...

My friends and I went there last night around 8-9pm to planning to have a fun night but this petite asian lady who served us/was on cash was so rude! She was sarcastic and impatient with us the whole time! From the moment we entered, to taking our orders then processing our payment, she looked irritated like she was having an awful evening because of us. She was subtle but still made it a point to make us feel like we're wasting her time. Unlike her though, we actually have manners and decided to let go of her snide remarks/gestures instead of causing a scene. We were polite the whole time and even decided not to split the bill cause she seems very determined to get rid of us. The thing is, we are also from the food/customer service industry. We were also trained how to treat and interact with people who entrust their time and business with us. And the service we received for mediocre-tasting drinks was beyond unacceptable! If she hates serving people so much then she should find another job! Being able to serve people is an honorable job and it shouldn't be given to ungrateful people. Never ever going back to this place and would never recommend it to...

I’m a regular here with my partner and we always loved coming here after work to destress and have their desserts. We come here probably 4/5x a week and usually get the bubble waffle, grass jelly, and bumper cup. Tonight we came by for the grass jelly and bumper cup however the grass jelly was terrible. The texture and taste seemed stale and it was hard. I usually get this dish but it’s never been this bad. I’ve expressed this to the waitress and asked if we could order something else. The manager on duty tonight said she could not exchange it for something nor could we have a credit to order it next time. We also always pay in advance which now we’ve learned not to pay anything up front first anymore. We were disappointed in how they’ve responded and handled by telling us there’s nothing wrong with it when they weren’t even the ones consuming it. Anyways we didn’t bother finishing up our food or drinks anymore and just left as we were disappointed on how they’ve treated us after being loyal customers to them. We won’t be back anymore. Thank you for telling the customers wrong for expressing...
