I dined in on Mother’s Day with my family and we didn’t receive a pen and paper to order so we had to wave down a server.
We wanted 1 order of spring rolls, 4 bone marrow soups, two cokes and water for the table. The first order that came in was a soup we didn’t recognize and waved down a server to say it was a mistake.
They said the soup was written on their note pad but we originally wanted the spring rolls.
Anywho- my family wasn’t going to eat the extra soup nor we did we want it at all in the first place but they said they can’t have it removed from our bill. EXCUSE ME!!? Why am I paying for an order I didn’t want. The servers were really nice and tried to talk to their manager but the manager said no we have to pay for the soup even if they made it.
Then they proceeded to give us take-out containers to pack it up OURSELVES! You’re telling me that as we dined in on our small table with four large soups that we had to pack the extra soup ourselves!?!
I flagged down someone and I’m assuming it was the manager and told him to pack it for us or to tell the kitchen to do it because I’m trying to eat dinner and they’re making me pack and pay for THEIR MISTAKE! (It’s giving lazy)
The guy looked confused so I had to tell him “ my family is trying to eat dinner and we are not going to pack this large soup filled to the top that we didn’t want in the first place ourselves to risk spilling.”
We were still waiting for our cokes & water, but by then we were already getting full from our meal let alone trying to flag down a server takes forever!!!! They did their best to avoid our table but even so at least they were polite whenever we got their attention.
We went to pay and they made a whole new take out order for the soup that was the mistake- (like how are you gonna make a whole new order if you’re just gonna dump the old one that we didn’t want)
This place is a scam and made my family pay $15.00 extra for something we didn’t want. Servers were nice but the service was terrible and whatever the manager has placed in police’s, needs to get their logic in check because I’m telling you, THIS WAS UNBELIEVABLE! I didn’t mind paying extra, I just wanted to pay for what I originally wanted (which was the spring rolls) but they didn’t even add the spring rolls to my order at all.
All the manager had to do was get rid of the soup and add the spring rolls no problem instead of making me pay for something we didn’t want to eat INSTEAD OF MAKING THE SAME SOUP AGAIN FOR TAKE OUT AND DUMPING THE OLDER ONE!!!!!!
The food was good, but the manager had 0 common sense with problem solving and it’s so unfortunate having to see this flourishing restaurant be managed by someone who has no...
Read moreWe came here because we love Pho and saw the glowing reviews over on Instagram. The food was nice- aromatic, authentic, and balanced. Note that the rice noodles are fresh and not dried so they're softer. The meat was very nice, not too fatty. On the other hand, the bowls weren't exceptionally memorable. This isn't a place worth traveling to to try, in my opinion. With regards to the atmosphere, it's beautifully decorated, clean, and very inviting.
The reasons we won't be coming back: The regular size is typically a small size at most other Vietnamese restaurants. Second is the service. We'd finished writing out our order and the two available servers were on their phone and socializing.. We had waited a while and if we hadn't interrupted one of them the wait likely would have persisted. That's not too big of a deal though- What made the experience unenjoyable was the fact that we'd ordered one Regular and one Large. We confirmed the order. The order came, they looked the same, and so we asked the server which one was the Reg and which was the Large. He told us which was which, confirmed it again, and then served us the bowls. They were identical. So we flagged him down, asked again and at that point with an ambiguous expression said he'd go to the kitchen to fix the order. He didn't tell us what to expect, and so my mother waited a while and eventually asked whether she should give the bowl back. He said no and that they'd bring out another small bowl. It took quite a while and having two bowls (the regular one + a side one) was not the experience we wanted. My mother said we'd do with both regulars but he insisted. Eventually the server brought it over and said it was on the house- for that we were appreciative and so I can't say the quality of the service was null. At the end of the meal when we paid, we weren't acknowledged. There was a total lack of warmth. It's just not inviting.. We enjoy eating out for both some good food and friendly vibes, and here the latter was lacking.
This long review is mostly for the owner- your staff need to be more acknowledging, and to pay better attention at what they're serving. In addition, to not leave the customer hanging as to what they can expect when a situation is being rectified. Several things had gone wrong with the service (as I'd recounted), but what perplexed me was why say a bowl is a large, then confirm it then serve it, then wait for the customer to say something about it before acting on it? Unreliable service generally tarnishes a dining experience. That was unfortunately...

A small Vietnamese restaurant that serves Vietnamese fare and pho. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Not that many tables. Largest table is 6 seats. Tables are close to each other. The interior is decorated like it's a blast from the past (I assume 1970s to 1980s styled). There's even this fake cherry blossom tree in the corner.
Went on a Thursday, around 6 pm. Not that busy. There were still plenty of parking spaces, just somewhat limited, small and tight. On the weekends is when there's a lineup outside, both the indoor and outdoor seating is filled to the brim with people. Hard to move around, no space to get anywhere, and definitely no parking space available.
I ate here with friends last year and got the Bone Marrow Pho. And they got various other phos and a non pho dish. This time around, I ate here with my mom. We both got one of the many beef pho (number 8 and 13 on the menu - $16.95, large size). And we got 2 plates of bean sprouts with lime slices. We also was given a pitcher of tea. The tea tastes like the tea you get in a Chinese restaurant/dim sum restaurant place.
The beef pho was good. The tea was cool and cleansing. We each piled bean sprouts on top of the pho and pushed them into the soup. The bean sprouts were crunchy. My mom squeezed the lime juice into her pho, to alleviate the salty tasting soup. The bowl size is large, one size for the ones we got.
The 2 things that my mom complained about was that there wasn't enough meat and onions in her bowl, and that the soup was way too oily for her liking. My bowl of pho had a variety of beef meats in it, so I had no complaints. We could also get as many as needed bean sprouts plates with the lime slices.
Previously, when I was here last time with friends, I got one of their most popular beef phos-- the bone marrow one ($20). It's definitely a gimmick, but it did taste pretty interesting and surprisingly good (it really was all buttery oils). That one only one size, large.
Overall, still one of the best pho places of eaten at. The soup is hot, tasty and it feels cleansing (though the oils in it kind of get to you fast). Just what I needed when I started to crave for a noodle dish. Was happy to go on a weekday as it's less busy. Only note that is of you can only come on the weekend, be prepared to go early or wait in a...
