Place 3/5 (Recommended by a friend to me) Kalyani is a solid spot for authentic Indian food with rich flavors and generous portions. The moment you walk in, the aroma of spices hits you, letting you know you're in for a treat.
I tried their apamm (i forgot the name), which was heavenly. I also had their lamb biryani, which was fragrant, well-cooked, and loaded with tender pieces of meat. Every bite had that perfect blend of spice and aroma. it was kinda spicy, but to me ketchup is hot so yeah.

The vegetable tikki was rather flavorless and bland, a little bit mushy. Not my favorite. The chicken samosas were delicious, and the tamarind chutney was to die for!
The butter chicken came with a generous portion but was almost all heat and no actual flavor. I like spice when it accentuates the flavor and depth of a dish, not when it overpowers it. The naan that I ordered it with smelled and tasted of burnt oil.
I still give two stars because again, portion size was good and I did enjoy bits of the meal. Overall I don't know I'd order again unless passing by to grab...
