On first visit was pleased with the service the male worker was very courteous and the food fresh next about three visits later I went in late - it was around 11:00 - I ordered a medium fries and a chicken breast - not much - and I eat very fast - they close at midnight so I decided to sit at a table to consume my food - I saw at the back nook with two small tables and four chairs - a very tight space - around ten minutes later the girl cleaning the dining room area say to someone - I'm waiting for him -then all of a sudden I see a body very quickly slide by me - in between the two tables and plop in the chair across from me belonging to the table next to mine - making a loud noise when the chair slid - tilted back hit the wall and front legs returned to the floor - she really wanted to make statement - I know it sounds dramatic but I was startled and in shock then - I was shoving a fork full of fries into mouth at that point and was more embarrassed than upset at that point - she just stared at me for a second or two - it seemed much longer than that - the nerve of that you know what - then to make things worse she started spraying the table and in all directions not being careful and not caring that I was still had un eaten food - I was almost finished eating any way - it would have been a minute longer if she waited - I was already aware that she wanted to clean up and get ready for home- I'm not a nervy person so I was already rushing - but she could have said excuse me Sir we are closing soon - will you be much longer? - and according to her accent I'm pretty sure she hasn't been in Canada that long - where does she get the courage from to act so blatantly rude - in unfamiliar territory- especially in a restaurant - I know it's not a classy joint but it's not a dump either - I guess Canadians are just too stupid and not classy enough to worry about- and care about how they get treated - I would have given her a peice of my mind right then and there but I wasn't sure if I had gravy on my mustache or not -(how classy is that) - so I just cleaned up my mess and Left -...
Read moreNew location in the area so decided to try it out. Could have done without. It’s a confusing concept with 3 self serve order machines as soon as you walk in, and then 1-2 “manned” registers. We walked in and it wasn’t too busy, we ordered our food and sat down to wait. More people came in. We were handed our first bag, which was missing gravy. Gentleman inside quickly remedied that. Our second combo we were told would be 7-8 minutes. Over the next 15 mins, I watched people walk in, order and handed their food to them. Enough time had passed so I once again asked how much longer. They looked puzzled. Asked me what I ordered. And then I heard them go to the kitchen and slap the sandwich together. Fries were cold already. My fiancés food had already cooled off as she waited for me to get mine. Overall was not a great first impression, and will definitely not be going back. The sandwich I ordered was tasty, but it’s 3 ingredients, hard to screw that up. Lots of food places on Eglinton, or in the surrounding area, so if you’re not too hard done by KFC, check out lots of the other local...
Read moreI usually don’t leave reviews, but after multiple poor experiences, I feel it’s necessary.
I placed a mobile order like I’ve done before, and once again — as has happened three times now — it wasn’t even started until I showed up and asked about it. What’s the point of ordering ahead if it’s completely ignored?
Today was the final straw. Staff were extremely slow, moving without any urgency. One employee was sweeping the floor for 15 minutes with AirPods in, completely ignoring waiting customers. No greeting, no acknowledgment — just indifferent behavior.
What frustrates me more is that I’ve worked at KFC back in 2021, and even at a very busy location with all three cookers running active for five straight hours, we still made sure service was fast, orders were ready on time, and customers were acknowledged. This location doesn’t even come close to that standard — and it’s not even that busy.
I only ever came here because I live nearby, but this will definitely be my last visit. KFC needs to seriously look into the management and staff training at...
