Kin-kin Bakery — Restaurant in Toronto

I visited Kinkin on July 31st at 6:43 PM, and the worker informed me they were closing at 6:50 PM and turned me away. However, the website clearly states that closing time is 7:00 PM. I was surprised by the lack of professionalism, especially since I arrived well before the posted closing time. To add to the frustration, the worker was standing at the front on their phone, which came across as unprofessional and dismissive. It would be helpful if the posted hours were accurate—or if staff followed them consistently—so customers aren’t inconvenienced...

Terrible experience. I bought 10 buns from the bakery today and last week, and at least 7 of the 10 buns were stale. The quality of the buns have gone extremely downhill since I started buying here two years ago. The woman working there bakes too many buns than required, and sells them the next day. The buns taste terrible and should not be sold in this condition. The cashier is lazy and does not want to make new buns everyday. What a waste of money as I thought it would be fresh. Tried one of their mini round cake ($7.50) and a HK styled milk tea. While the cake was an acceptable standard and nice, the tea was a failure. It simply has no fragrance of the HK milk tea, lacking completely in thick cream and tea strength. This is clearly a misuse and abuse of the popular HK milk tea. And this one has some tea grains in the tea. Management has to re-think...
