Don't order food here when the two South Asian guys are working. One is younger of lighter complexion and the other is a big obese guy with the dopey hat. They don't wear disposable gloves, hair nets, or wash their hands. The younger one handled cash and started prepping dough and the obese guy handled pork then halal meat without washing hands. Told me not to worry because he's muslim too lol and then accused me of being a "Muslim Killer" because I said I'm in the army (which I am and said it because he accused me of just wanting a free pizza and I said I serve this country and am not the type to swindle free food). I left the place with a refund and even though the other nicer and sensible worker wanted me to keep the horribly prepared pizza (half raw/ toppings barely on the pizza and the broccoli on 1/3 of the pizza)- I stated I cannot accept this. I'm not going back to this location after being a customer here for 8 years. Not sure when the shift of staff occurred but these new guys are running the franchise name to the ground. I've logged a complaint and also gave an interview to the news media. I simply want these guys properly coached instead of employment termination. At the end of the day they're probably good people but just lazy when it comes to health regulations. Pizza Pizza please sort this out. The way I was treated that night was an utter disgrace especially with Canada day just around the corner.
p.s- Do not insult my intelligence by replying with the feedback response of "please email us with more information and how you will look into it" as you have on every single review given on here. Contact me instead over the phone by asking for my details and then pro actively deal with the situation. I recorded these guys and also have my receipt. I haven't yet submitted this to my friends in the media. I will if this isn't sorted out asap. Nobody should be getting sick or being told religious beliefs aren't that important or being called a "Muslim Killer"!...
Read moreMy brother ordered two XL pizzas, and they were completely dry with almost no sauce — absolutely disappointing. I ordered a medium, and it was just as bad. On top of that, the garlic sauce was extremely salty with a weird aftertaste. I honestly couldn’t tell if it was expired or just poorly made, but either way, it made an already frustrating experience worse.
What pushed this over the edge, though, was the terrible customer service. The staff here don’t seem to know how to handle customers professionally. Instead of completing one transaction, they’ll basically ignore your order and start talking to another customer. And it’s not just for a split second — they’ll waste 5–10 minutes doing something else, then finally come back to you only to ask the exact same question again because they forgot where they left off. While I was at the cash, instead of finishing my order and adding my Diet Coke, they stopped to chat with other customers and even with employees about unrelated things — all while I was standing there waiting.
There’s zero organization at this location. I specifically noticed two employees who kept doing this, making the whole process irritating and unnecessarily long. And the worst part is, this is my local Pizza Pizza — the one I grew up with and always went to. It honestly sucks to see how bad this restaurant has become.
This isn’t even the first incident either. The first time, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But this is the second time, and now I’m beyond disappointed — especially because I spend a lot of money here. I just paid for three pizzas that weren’t even edible. After all that waiting, to end up with dry pizza, awful garlic sauce, and unprofessional service, I can honestly say this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a...
Read moreI was there yesterday and witnessed blatant discrimination. A older lady with a walker came in to buy a pizza and when she received her pizza asked to use their bathroom. The guy behind the counter told the lady the key was locked in the bathroom and therefore closed. The lady was disappointed, clearly having to use the bathroom badly, and then had to walk as fast as possible (with her walker) to go to either the McDonalds or in the mall (both a distance away). I then noticed in a span of 15-20 minutes other patrons came in (some that didn't even buy pizza, but also were not Black) asked to use the bathroom and he handed them the key with a smile. I tried to mind my business but I could not, that could've easily been a family member of mine to experience this type of discrimination. I voiced my opinion of the events I witnessed to another member there and she brushed me off, trying to talk over me when I was telling the story. I already didn't like this Pizza Pizza location, or Pizza Pizza overall because their pizza is low quality but my toddler wanted to stop here... Will never be giving this Pizza Pizza location or any Pizza Pizza my money ever again. Pizza Pizza...
