My recent experience with Leziz Kitchen left much to be desired. Having fond memories of their dishes from a few years ago, I eagerly placed an order for their chicken rice bowl, anticipating a flavourful and satisfying meal. Unfortunately, what arrived was far from what I had hoped for. The chicken rice bowl I received was not only wet but also filled with low-quality chicken scraps that were barely edible. The chicken itself seemed to lack any discernible seasoning or flavour, making it a bland and unappetizing addition to the dish. The rice, too, was disappointingly soggy, further detracting from the overall enjoyment of the meal. What struck me the most was the noticeable decline in quality since my last visit. It's disheartening to see a once-reliable establishment fall short in such a significant way. The fact that I had to reorder from another restaurant speaks volumes about the subpar nature of the food I received from Leziz Kitchen. While I understand that restaurants can have off days, the level of dissatisfaction I experienced suggests deeper issues with consistency and attention to detail. It's concerning to think that others may have had similar experiences, especially if they, like me, were returning customers expecting the same level of quality they had previously enjoyed. In conclusion, my recent encounter with Leziz Kitchen left me feeling disappointed and dissatisfied. The wet, inedible chicken rice bowl I received was a far cry from the flavourful dishes I had come to expect from this establishment. Unless significant improvements are made, I cannot in good conscience recommend Leziz Kitchen to others.

Went to Leziz Kitchen and ordered their Chicken Shawarma Pita Wrap and the Chicken Shawarma Platter, and let me tell you—the food was absolutely scrumptious. Every bite was bursting with flavour, the meat was juicy, tender, and perfectly spiced, and the sauces brought the whole experience together. It was simply fire. But what really made my visit memorable was the amazing service I received from Ken. From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with a warm smile and a welcoming attitude that immediately made me feel comfortable. He paid close attention to every detail, ensuring my food was prepared to perfection and up to quality standards. It’s rare to see such genuine hospitality and care for customers these days, but Ken truly went above and beyond. It’s employees like Ken who make a place more than just a food stop—it becomes a whole experience. His positive energy, attentiveness, and professionalism added a personal touch that made me feel valued as a customer. Because of Ken’s top-notch service and the mouthwatering food, I would love to visit Leziz Kitchen again and again. Highly recommend this spot—ask for Ken if you want your meal and experience to be next level!

I love the simplicity of Middle Eastern cuisine, being vegetarian the mezze platter is an healthy option. Leziz kitchen by Selda is a home run authentic Turkish restaurant with freshly cooked meals, an X George Brown college student Selda is professionally trained and a fantastic cook with a passion for hospitality, she indeed does George Brown college proud. I ordered almost everything vegetarian on the menu as I’m a glutton for good food, and I wasn’t one bit disappointed as the food was super delicious. Worth making this small family owned restaurant a permanent fixture in my bi weekly food cravings. I ordered - Combo dip appetiser includes: Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Eggplant dip, special Garlic dip sauce and Cacik (Tzatziki). Choice of garlic sauce or chickpea salad or tomato paste dip. Homemade crispy cigar roll filled with feta cheese. Homemade crispy cigar roll filled with potatoes. The best home made falafel prepared freshly. Baklava, home made from phyllo with walnut Worth every penny 😍

I’m not sure where these 5 star reviews are coming from but this place is not it. First of all the location is not very accessible. They have a very narrow parking area with abandoned cars, the entire area is sketchy. Getting into and out of the parking is a challenge especially if you have a SUV. We ordered the lamb kabab pita and shawarma plate, and the food was horrible, literally the worst shawarma in Toronto. The lamb kabab was frozen, we saw him remove it from the freezer. It was not fresh shaved lamb but lamb sausage. The chicken shawarma was not fresh of the spit, rather he took the chicken out from a premade batch which was in this tomato sauce marinade. It tasted awful. The rice and chicken had no seasoning, and the chicken was full of cartilage. It tasted like cooked chicken drumsticks rather than fresh meat on a spit. Their hummus was dry and old tasting, again no spice or flavouring. You can tell this place skimps out on ingredients. Their “salad” is iceberg lettuce, tomato, cucumber and onions. Overall it was a poor experience. I would go to say even the worst shawarma in Toronto. Their prices are also high. We came here based on the 5 star reviews but they clearly are fake. So sad. There are so many other options in the area including much better shawarma options. We don’t recommend and definetly...

Food I had the baba ganoush, hummus, falafel, fries and butter chicken. First, the baba ganoush and hummus did not taste fresh whatsoever. The baba ganoush (0/5) had a taste of spoiled milk and, I confess, I did not eat more than one bite. The hummus (1/5), although not extremely bad, was chunky and lacked the freshness a good olive oil and green leaves can bring to it. Second, the falafel (2/5) was somewhat overcooked and soaked in grease. The fries (5/5) were impeccable. The butter chicken (1/5) tasted very blend and had no salt. I brought it home and seasoned again.

Service Very good service, however, not so good based on what the atmosphere looked like and felt like.

Atmosphere The tables were extremely greasy and my forearms where sticking to the table (we changed tables). Hence why I didn't give service a 5 because if they were really good they would clean.

In general, this is the first restaurant with a good google review that disappointed me so much to the point I felt the need to write a review. The price is reasonable and I understand I ordered Indian Food in an Arabic restaurant. However, nothing can make up for tasteless and awfully cooked food plus lack of cleanliness. I do not recommend this restaurant and I am sure I will never come back in...
