OBQ Burgers — Restaurant in Toronto

I've been living in Long Branch pretty much all my life, & seen this corner restaurant growing up a thousand times, but never went in. In 2018 I finally went & fell in love with the Steak On The Bun. Just recently a new owner took OBQ Burgers over, & it was the BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED! Mike now owns OBQ, & there just isn't enough good things I can say about himself, & his leadership. The day I met him he gave off such a friendly, positive, & upbeat personality. Not only that, but he treats his employees with such incredible respect, & care. Before the food was good, but since Mike came, the food tastes like ACTUAL gourmet food! If you're in the area, or visiting, forget all the local burger places, come to OBQ Burgers, you won't be disappointed! You'll notice when eating the food, it tastes exquisite, because it's made with tender, love, & care with a smile each time. Mike goes the extra mile to buy the BEST QUALITY ingredients, meats, & bread. I'm telling ya'll, COME TO OBQ, his Garlic Mayo secret recipe is the best i've tasted in my life. It blends with anything you order. Shay is also one of the staff there, & makes you feel warm when you enter, & provides exceptional customer service. Everyone there are extremely hard working people, & deserve to be recognized for it. First time at OBQ today. I wasn't disappointed! Small location not easy to spot from the street but it was very clean, the staff was engaging and friendly. I ordered a specialty burger and a "Quebec" Poutine. My meal was ready in about 6 minutes or so. The burger was properly cooked,. The beef was fresh and high quality Angus with a light seasoning and no filler. The taste was nice like a BBQ burger. I got the 6 ounce burger and it was large enough to fill me up. Nice fresh wholesome tasting burger overall like you would make at home which is not easy to find these days. The Poutine really surprised. Ever since I moved from Quebec 29 years ago I have only been disappointed by Poutine in the GTA. OBQ served me up a proper Poutine today. Fries were the proper size, the gravy was good (although I like it with a touch more beef flavor personally) and it was topped with the right amount of cheese curds. Not a perfect Poutine but best I have had outside of Quebec. Amazingly, OBQ has Burger combo deals for under $10 ! I don't know why anyone would want fast food chain burgers. Okay so, check this out. In my mind, I had a $10 budget for lunch that day. Now, I made the mistake of getting food when I'm hungry. DONT DO THIS!!!, worst decision making lol. So I'm like "yeahhhh $10 and I'm good.". So I'm driving looking for this $10 or less meal and I see this OBQ burgers. Seen it for a long time but never gave it thought. So I'm like, meh lemme go see. So I check the menu and do my fat boy hungry math, you know the one where you're counting the cost of the burger, not realising the combo is more? But you're fat boy mode, math is clear. So I get the cheeseburger and decide I want a combo. She said like $17! You ever just agreed to a price knowing it above yours but you basically there and wanna save face? So now I got this burger and I'm already on my "$17 for this and you're not 5 guys, this burger better feed me then give me a belly rub". But let me tell you, I took a bite and BRUH!!!
