Read moreI always enjoy Turkish breakfast and had high hopes for this place. Drives 30 min to get there (Dundas West), the place is cozy with authentic Turkish music. However, the breakfast price is insane for a very small portion, and if you wanna share 15$ service fee. At first I was like okay, I'll pay for the service fee but then got disappointmented. I added pictures of some of plates (not all) to see how small each saucer was that could contain only very small portion! I paid $$ for 1 breakfast shared with my friend, which was too much! I hope management change their approach of high price and small portions to keep their customers.
**Update: I wrote the review to help the bussiness to see their customers' point of view, and that's why I gave high score for food & atmosphere, so not to misrepresent or what so. I made some changes to my review upon the restaurant's reply to clarify my point of view. I tried this place to find my next go-to place, but it was a bit of disappointment with the price & service.

Why not bring that extra bread at first! All in all, the service for me...

This place serves home style food that you may find if you’re invited to dinner at someone’s home in Türkiye. The Turkish restaurant experience hasn’t been easy to find, for a couple of reasons: 1) Turkish hospitality, service. 2) Variety of home-style food. Lokum Eats ticks both of these boxes for me.
I’ve been here about 4 times now and it’s definitely become a regular for me. Tuba brings the the true Turkish hospitality and is wonderful.
The Sultan’s Delight is a must try, one of the best things I’ve had. Other favourites are the mezes and the manti. Fresh complimentary bread also is amazing.
If you want a taste of quality Turkish Holme style food, this is the place to go. Couldn’t recommend enough!
September 2023 edit: We visited their new location. The standards have remained high and I was once again blown away by the hospitality, the food, and the beautiful decor of their new spot! In my eyes Lokum Eats remains the best Turkish food I have had in Canada, and I have tried at least 15...
