My first ever experience trying Maker Pizza was ordering their Dr. Pepperoni at their Cameron St. location. I remember I had such high hopes and yet, was so disappointed because their pepperoni was too salty for me to enjoy. I hadn't gone back for a long time because of this, but also wanted to give them another shot. This time around, I ordered the SPICY PEP GOD, since I figured I didn't need the double pepperoni but I still love those classic flavors. This pie comes with pepperoni, grass-fed mozzarella, organic tomatoes, parmesan, slow-cooked sauce, chilli flakes and oregano. I also upgraded to have it with a HONEY FINISH and EVERYTHING BAGEL CRUST! This pizza really hit the spot! The pepperoni was still saltier than I preferred, but the honey finish helped to provide some balance, as did the generous amount of cheese. I loved the slight spice which was a nice kick, but truly, the everything bagel crust is what makes this stand out. Such a soft airy crust, that has a slight crisp alongside with a crunch thanks to all the seeds - is definitely what you need! I went for the dill ranch dip to pair, which is delicious as it helps to cut the grease. I love the little pick up window they have at this location, which makes it easy. I do recommend them maybe adding a little overhead covering over this window though, as they day I ordered, it was raining and when you stand right at the window, the giant fall-offs of rain drops hit you right in the head/face (haha, no thank you). Service was efficient and friendly. I will definitely be back for more!

Huge fan of Matty Matheson but this was our first Maker Pizza experience, and it was fantastic! I’m completely baffled by any 1 star reviews. A lot of them sound like they had one or two things they didn’t like and that doesn’t warrant 1 star in my book. I understand and acknowledge restaurants can have a bad day or apathetic employees sometimes, they’re only human so I forgive if something is a little off. Next time, it’ll hopefully be better. I was happy with my overall experience though. We ordered the 16” Dr. Pepperoni with added green olives and sesame+honey crust. We ordered ahead of time online through the Maker mobile app. They have a pizza tracker so you can check the status of your pizza. We arrived when were told to, there were people in line already but the staff acknowledged us when we arrived. We promptly received our pizza after the other customers were served. Pizza tasted amazing. The wood oven crust was perfectly cooked. The pepperoni and olive combo was delish. And that honey and sesame seed topping made an amazing fluffy, chewy crust that much better. Love this place and will be back sometime this summer for sure.

You might want to actually serve your customers when they come into your establishment! I stopped in to grab a Bodega sandwich and even though the place was empty of customers, neither of the two employees working asked to take my order or even acknowledge my existence. After a few minutes of this treatment I ended up leaving in frustration. Wish I could rate the food but alas I will not be returning. Update: this review received a "response" from the owner asking me to contact them via email presumably to discuss my experience and concerns. I replied to the email as requested later that day and as of now (3 days later) still have not heard anything further from them. I can only assume their "request" for me to email them is an underhanded attempt to make it look like their company takes customer concerns seriously by publicity "reaching out" to make amends when in reality they do not follow through in any way.

Tl;dr - Service: C+ Speed: B Food Quality: A+

Really nice pizza, though not cheap. You get what you pay for, however. I ordered online for pickup and appreciate the online menu was easy to navigate. There was a text system for sending me alerts which appeared to be totally automated and not at all tied to the actual timeline within the restaurant. That’s annoying. I was early and checked in for my order using the link but got no acknowledgement. When my pickup time arrived I went in and the person at the counter seemed surprised and unprepared that I was showing up, and let me know that my order wasn’t done yet and needed a few more minutes. I could hear the kitchen staff trying to figure out who was cooking my wings and when would they be ready. Once we got the food it was hot and delicious, and I’ll definitely be back! It was clear that if they tightened up the front of house operation it could help keep customers happy and probably keep the kitchen on track.

We had a Dr Pep and the white pizza with caramelized onions. Both were spectacular, even reheated the next day. Crust is a win; chewy but light. Great cook. Cookies were soft and delicious; clearly baked to be on the chewy side which I love. We got the 4 pack to sample each cookie: spoiler alert; it’s 2 cookie doughs and they just add a topping to make the different kinds. All delicious, but no need to go nuts getting variety. Stick with the burnt marshmallow (basic chocolate chip dough) and either the double chocolate or dulce de leche (both brownie cookie dough) depending on your favorite topping. I’d go...
