Mama's Boys Burgers — Restaurant in Toronto

There is nothing more refreshing than knowing you're eating DELICIOUS QUALITY food. Nowadays it's sadly hard to find an establishment of any tenure with good service as well, but Mama? No, no she is not only old school on how she takes care of you in her restaurant but also does it with the LOVE, just like how a Greek mother would tend to her own children at home. THAT'S how she treats every single customer that walks through her doors! She is beyond lovely, her students that work in the kitchen are extremely friendly and adorable and again the food? Out of this world! From dining here before i decided to take my parents for dinner tonight and we ordered a pulled pork sandwich with fries and a bottle of water for mama bear, a 6oz mama's burger combo w/bacon & cheese and a can of coke for Papa bear and for myself it was a chicken souvlaki dinner with rice, fries and a Greek salad (can I just say YUUUUMMMMM on how tender and delicious that meat was though?! JUST WOW, it literally melted on first contact with my mouth, so tender and juicy). My mom absolutely loved the pull pork so much that I ordered her a side portion for her to eat for lunch tomorrow too, lol! The restaurant is super clean, chill and extremely cozy too! I took my friend from work to go try out this place. Absolutely amazing! These words sum up my experience at Mama's Boys Burgers. I felt so comfortable like I was at grandma's house, and I mean that in the best possible way. She puts herself into the business by engaging with her customers and not a lot of places do that. The customer service from Mama herself was exceptional and genuine. She definitely sets the benchmark for customer treatment. Her staff were very polite and friendly as well. The atmosphere was bright and comfortable.Then there is the food. I went for the "go big or go home" mindset and ordered a fully loaded Mama's Signature 12oz burger (2 6oz patty). Paired that with a vanilla milkshake. The milkshake was not heavy at all, it tasted very good and was light. The burger had my favourite ratio of burger to bun ratio. The fries were thickcut and tasted very unique, but very good with a hint of malt taste to it. Mama herself recommended the home made Baklava that she made and I had to say yes, and took it to go. I recommend this place 150% for you if you like burgers or if you are a "foodie" in general. I will be coming back here to try the souvlaki. If you order what I ordered, you'd come back too. In my last visit I was not happy with the service those girls provided. I was over charged for my meal and when I tried to clarify, I told the cashier it's just a misunderstanding. As I tried to explain she gave an attitude and short change me, and told me not to worry about it. Then I waited 45mins for my food with my 6 year old child. Customer's who ordered after me who were obviously walk ins, came out b4 me. Then when I asked, "when will I get my meal?" I was told, "ma'am I'm going in order." I said ok no problem. When I finally recieved my meal the lady making the sandwich said " wow, that was over a 30 mins wait, what happened there!" I politely said thank you and exited. Not once was I disrespectful because I know they were handling my food. I didnt raise my voice because they had a lot of customers and I could tell they were overwhelmed. All in all they were just unprofessional and no apology was made for the misunderstanding or the extreamly long wait. It was my 5th visit and I just wanted my son to try a new burger place for the first time. He said, " mommy, this was the worst place ever!"
