I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Street Food Restaurant, and it was an absolute delight! The menu offers a tantalizing array of street food dishes from manekchok. Strongly recommended if you like famous pineapples sandwich from Amadavad you will get same taste. Bhav bhajee and Maggie’s was okay okay The staff at Street Food Restaurant are incredibly warm and welcoming. Their passion for food shines through in their attentive service and genuine enthusiasm. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and share stories about the origins of the dishes, adding an extra layer of appreciation to the experience. The ambiance of the restaurant is vibrant and eclectic, perfectly reflecting the spirit of street food culture. I also must mention the affordability factor. Despite the exceptional quality and variety of dishes, the prices at Street Food Restaurant are remarkably reasonable. It’s a haven for food lovers on a budget, as you can sample a diverse range of mouthwatering flavors without breaking the bank. In conclusion, if you’re looking for an extraordinary street food experience, Street Food Restaurant is an absolute must-visit. With its incredible flavors, welcoming staff, and lively ambiance, it has earned its place as one of my favorite dining spots in town. Prepare your taste buds for an unforgettable journey of global culinary delights.

Generous 3 stars. The food was very sub standard as per the expectations we came here with. Especially after all the paid instagram posts they have got traction with. The food was not at all the par with Manek Chowk as its brand. We ordered live pani puri, tawa pulav, pineapple cheese sandwich and live steam dhokla. Live pani puri: Serving was a good idea with different flavors of pani. However only 2 flavours were good and fresh enough Tawa pulav: As per the staff's suggestion Tawa pulav was supposed to be the best dish on the menu, and to our surprise it was literally home made veg fried rice with lots of biryani masala and garam masala and tasted pathetically bad for a dish you advertise as a manek chowk's. Live steam dhokla: was just stale and microwaved, not at all "LIVE". Pineapple ice cream sandwich: the only thing i thought cannot be complained about was also having its edges not cut properly and they used a sub standard tasteless cheese instead of Amul cheese. I hope they take this review as a constrctive criticism and improve on the quality of the food as per the prices they charge for dishes. Honestly there is no dish here that resembles any dish in Manek Chowk. You can definitely skip this and go to Royal Paan instead.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The interior was clean, brightly lit, and decorated with traditional Indian decor, creating a vibrant and cozy atmosphere. The menu had a great selection of dishes, offering both traditional Indian cuisine and fusion dishes that incorporated elements of Western fast food. I was particularly impressed with the quality of the food. Each dish was expertly prepared, and the flavors were fresh, bold, and well-balanced. I particularly enjoyed the Manekchowk Special Sandwich , which was cheesy on the outside and filled with a delicious mixture of spices and vegetables. In terms of service, the one of the staff named Rushita was friendly, efficient, and attentive. She was knowledgeable about the menu and was able to make great recommendations for both food and drink. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience at this Indian fast food restaurant. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty, convenient, and affordable meal that is packed with bold, authentic flavors. Whether you're in the mood for a quick bite or a sit-down meal, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

If there were an award for the worst restaurant experience of the year, Manek Chowk Restaurant would win it hands down. I don’t even know where to begin with how utterly horrible everything was—from the pathetic service to the disgraceful food. I’m honestly baffled at how this place has 4,000+ reviews, but more on that later.

Let’s start with the waiting time. We ordered pani puri, and I swear we waited 20 minutes for six miserable puris that tasted like someone soaked them in gutter water. It was ugly—I don’t use that word lightly. The flavor was beyond bad, the texture was soggy, and it felt like they’d been sitting there for hours. There was no freshness, no taste, just a sour, stomach-churning mess that made me instantly regret stepping foot in this place.

After that disaster, we ordered a paneer sandwich thinking maybe that would redeem the experience a little. Nope. Fifty minutes later, we finally got a cold, sloppy excuse of a sandwich that had barely any paneer and tasted like cardboard with mayo. Absolutely ridiculous. What kind of kitchen takes nearly an hour to toast some bread and slap on a couple of fillings?

The staff? Miserable. Every single person working there looked like they hated their life. Not one smile, not one greeting. Just blank stares and cold shoulders. It’s like they’re doing you a favor by serving you food you didn’t even want anymore by the time it showed up. You get the vibe instantly—no one wants to be there, neither the employees nor the customers. I counted just six other people in the restaurant and STILL everything was delayed. What are they even doing back there?

And here’s the kicker—those 4,000+ glowing reviews? Don’t trust them. This place shamelessly bribes customers with free peri peri fries if they leave a positive review. That’s right. So all those five-star ratings you see? Fake as hell. Just people lured in by free fries and guilt-tripped into lying. If you’re reading this and thinking “but the reviews look good,” let me stop you right there: don’t be fooled.

I left this place with a headache and a stomach full of regret. This wasn’t just bad, it was the worst dining experience I’ve had in years. Manek Chowk Restaurant should be avoided like the plague. There’s no heart in the food, no care in the service, and no honesty in how they operate.

Save your time, save your tastebuds. Go literally...

Most of the glowing reviews are blatantly fake. They dangle a pathetic bribe—a measly portion of free peri peri fries—in exchange for positive ratings.

Now, let’s talk about the food. It crawls out of the kitchen at a snail’s pace. Any further delay and it would have arrived half-frozen.

As for the cutlery, their plates are so cheap and flimsy they wobble like a circus act. You’d be better off bringing your own paperweights to keep your meal from sliding off.

The service counter features a girl whose attitude can best be described as downright vile—she’ll make you feel like something she scraped off her shoe.

If you dare to order more than one item, expect each dish to arrive at ten-minute intervals, as though you’re being drip-fed disappointment on a conveyor belt.

They don’t accept Amex—typical of budget eateries—but hilariously, their prices are nowhere near “budget.” They cut corners everywhere except on your bill.

Regret is the only thing that filled me after enduring this excuse for a meal.

To the staff: you might want to wash the salt and pepper containers once in a blue moon. The crusted filth of dried ketchup and chutney stuck to the bottom is revolting.

And a final word of warning—if you’re foolish enough to order the dahi puri, be prepared to sprint straight to the dental clinic next door. The rock-solid freezing curd will annihilate your teeth and leave you begging for...
