Sadly not a very good location. Cashier was condescending and not very kind, couldn’t really remember her name but it was something like Ashinandan, didn’t really wanna remember it anyway but I read her name tag. But my visit was on March 30, 2025, between 8:50pm - 9pm. I asked nicely if they have iced coffee and she went “what size?!” And the tone was very disrespectful and irate. For some reason I don’t know why. She couldn’t even say “oh yes we do, what would you like?” She wasn’t even busy. But the last thing I wanna do is ruin my night at McDonalds so I ignored it.
And when she handed the drink she didn’t even say a thing. And obviously didn’t say “thank you”. McDonald’s lids need straws, I asked nicely if I can get straw and she’s like it’s at the back! In my head I’m like what? But realized immediately that she meant it’s behind me at the condiments stand.
What are you guys doing to your employees? Why are they so irritated to their customers? Read moreAs an "early bird" today (for a change), I went to this McDonald's and purchased their medium coffee and a muffin special costing $3.15, including tax. Very good deal! The coffee and the cranberry muffin (my choice) were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was so peaceful sitting there and enjoying this simple pleasure.
Over two years ago, my neighbour Henry Coates, who passed away, used to go to this McDonald's every day for breakfast. He sat at a booth and was joined by so many friends. They always had a good time. After Henry suddenly passed away, I had informed one of the owners of this franchise who was so sad. In fact, other staff members were sad at the loss of this really nice man who was also a cherished customer. It just goes to show you how much of a community setting this McDonald's restaurant is for the people who live in the Rexdale area and how the staff appreciate the customers, too. While I was enjoying my coffee and muffin today, I was thinking about how Henry is missed but also that the staff members are still really nice to the customers.
Of course, I will return to this neighbourhood McDonald's over and over again! Today was just one example of how nice it is...
Read moreSLOOWWWW. Spent about 20 minutes in line for nothing. I was in line behind two customers for 15 minutes and when I got to the front there was no cashier taking orders. We observed all three staff working slowly and they completely disregarded and ignored me and all of the customers behind me, waiting in line to order. While we waited, I saw one customer that was waiting for their order the entire time I was in line receive a simple coffee, which was prepared at snail's speed. Another customer who was waiting for their order the entire time I was in line returned shortly after because their order was wrong and they could not get the attention of any of the staff. After waiting 5 minutes or longer and not getting acknowledged whatsoever by any of the staff, couldn't be bothered to wait for these incompetent staff anymore and left.
