UPDATE: So many choices to pick from so today I ordered the chicken shami lunch special for take out. So delicious! Two big chicken shami pieces, lots of beautifully seasoned rice, fresh salad, and sauces. Good price. YUM! I love their food and their nice staff members, too. This is my new favourite place to order food in the whole Rexdale area. Big recommendation from me.

UPDATE: The two beef shami, rice, dipping sauces and shredded salad were absolutely delicious, fresh, with generous portions and a great value. I happily ate it all up except for the red sauce that was too spicy for my tricky tummy. The food didn't need any extra spices anyway. There's no need for me to eat dinner tonight as a result. I'm a happy customer! Curious to explore even more of these Afghan delights, I will peruse the photos of the meals that are posted above the cash desk area. Can't wait! The staff members are so friendly and nice, too. Obviously talented chefs! Big recommendation from me!

PREVIOUSLY: It's only recently that it even occurred to me to enter this small but excellent restaurant for some reason. I'd been missing out big time! The $10 freshly-made hamburger, seasoned fries and can of pop special, available even in the evening, cannot be beat anywhere in Rexdale! The burger is so delicious, the fries seasoned perfectly and just as tasty as the burger. Generous portions. Of course, I've been back multiple times since then to try to make up for all the times that I could have gone there instead of to other food service places in Rexdale. The staff members are so nice, considerate and helpful, too. There are a number of tables and chairs in this small restaurant. So far, I've been ordering takeout but I'm thinking that next time I will order from the menu of delectable-looking meals, such as the shami. Big...

Food Quality: The taste of the meat was good, and the naan had an authentic Afghan touch, but the portion size was disappointing. For the price, we expected more than 4 small chunks of meat in either main courses, and half of lamb were mostly bones. While the tenderness of the meat was commendable, it didn't justify the overall value.

Service: The service was basic. Nothing exceptional, just what you'd expect, but nothing stood out as particularly welcoming or attentive - that would make me return.

Value for Money: Very expensive for what we received. When you pay a higher price, you expect a decent portion, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. Given the portion size and quality, it felt overpriced.

Ambiance: Subpar ambiance with bad lighting and cleanliness. It didn’t feel inviting, and the overall setting left much to be desired in terms of comfort and atmosphere.

Overall Experience: While the meat was tender and the naan had a nice Afghan touch, the experience was underwhelming. The small portions, especially with so many bones, left us disappointed. I had ordered from uber eats app. There was an offer which was "if you get one, you will get one free". So, with the hope I will receive 2 lunches, I chose that specific food which had offer on the menu( lentils or Dall with bread). But,they had sent me only one! I felt it was not fair. When I called them, they said it was my own fault! When they say if you order one of this item, you will get another one free! It means I should receive 2 items!
