The following is what I wrote to the corporation. This location is impossible.
Dear sir/madam,
I am writing this letter to register a complaint regarding one of your employees whose name is " Josephine ", works at the location 2365 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON M6P 1W7
First of all, I go to this location to get my coffee before i go to work daily; however, I have received the worst customer service at this location, among all other McDonald's locations that I have been to. I have noticed that this employee named Josephine, who is a petite black young lady, has been having some attitude problems. At first I only thought she was having a bad day and it was just a rare occurrence, but she seems to be angry on a daily basis. As a customer who is paying for the food and service, I feel severely disrespected and insulted. Therefore, I believe it is necessary to inform your corporation about such behavior at this location.
what is worse, I went to get my coffee as usual in this afternoon. Josephine told me that the small size coffee was the only coffee they offered at that time since they only had small size coffee cup lids. I don't think I need to tell you how ridiculous it sounds- McDonald's running out of coffee lids ? seriously ? Nevertheless, what triggered me the most was Josephine's attitude towards this matter. She was not just responding in an extremely rude manner ( uncomfortably stared at me without any facial expressions) and not apologetic, but also she kind of gave me the sense that I was not welcomed even I just asked her a question nicely in connection to the coffee cup.
Finally, I have witnessed multiple times that Josephine were arguing with other staff members right in front of customers, inappropriate language were being used. I personally think it is such a bad influence to others who work with her, as well as to the customers. Regardless she was just joking around or not, we do not need to hear it and we do not appreciate it.
In short, issues that I have mentioned above can impact this location's business negatively. I urge you to look into these matters immediately and start problem-solving. In the meanwhile, I would not go to this location anymore if her attitude remains the...
Read morePathetic Place... Have tried 100 times in last 5-6 months, but you never get Vanilla Cone.. Not ideal for kids and families for sure ! Reason being that this place is small and next to subway so vanilla melts due to heat ... ARE YOU KIDDING ME ?
This is what I wrote but never received any feedback as yet: To whom-so-ever this may concern
Hello,
I would like to bring one grave concern to your notice. At this particular location "2365 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON M6P 1W7", whenever I request for Vanilla Cone, I have always received some or other lame excuse. I have been there 7-8 times in past one month, and not even a single time, I saw the machine working. For example, the excuse that was given today was that machine needs 15-20 minutes after they deliver 4-5 MacFlurries. The machine needs 15-20 minutes and even then there is no guarantee. The other time it was that machine is no working because of too much heat in the surroundings ( surprisingly it was -20 Celsius outside). The other time I heard that this is commercial complex and because of too many orders, the machine does not work. I am surprised if there are any in-home or personal MacDonalds outlets in Toronto as well.
I have not heard such lame excuse at other location for example Dufferin Mall or St. Clair Avenue MacDonalds center. Whenever any product is not available, thy have that displayed outside that so-and-so product is not available.
Surprisingly, this is never the case with this location. To meet kids expectations, I have to travel either to Costco or to DairyQueen everyday.
Appreciate if you can either address the issue OR remove the items from the product list itself. It is very disappointing to see that the product is displayed in the list and is never available at the counter (for some or other false excuse).
It is understood that there could actually be a problem however it is fairly impossible that there is always a problem, in my case, 15-20 times straight in one...
Read moreOn 03/07/23 at approximately 11:38 p.m., I was at 2365 Dundas Street West at McDonald's. I was on lunch with 2 other coworkers trying to order coffee with apple pies. Due to our personal medical reasons, we only drink decaffeinated coffee. At the register, they told me they don't have decaffeinated coffee. This was the 3rd time without decaffeinated coffee, so I asked for them to brew a pot, and we would wait for it. The cashier said they couldn't brew us a pot. I asked to speak to the manager. After 5 minutes, another employee came to talk to me and asked if she was the manager (no, she replied). The other employee said, "Mr., we can't brew you a pot because we don't have the decaffeinated coffee grinds, and we only brew decaffeinated in the morning." So my coworkers just ordered regular coffee, and I ordered a peppermint tea. I told the cashier I still wanted to speak to the manager. After 10-15 minutes later, JILIATA, the manager, showed up, and I explained everything to her, and she said that she had told her girls to brew the decaffeinated coffee. OMG, me and my coworkers just wasted our lunch break dealing with liars. At this point, my coworkers didn't want to wait but did so for me. The cashier was going to charge me for the decaffeinated coffee that I waited for 25 minutes. I gave back the peppermint tea in exchange for my decaffeinated coffee. And they owe me money back because my coffee was only $1 and tea $1.83 I never asked for the difference. I'm not sure if they are told not to brew decaffeinated coffee or if staff refuses too. It's a 24-hour location, no reason for lies or not to be available, or at least brew it when customers ask for it. I feel so upset that I was lied to by 2 employees. I would not recommend this location whatsoever; a customer and a shareholder of McDonald's, I'm so disappointed that they would lie to customers. Avoid this location and don't believe what...
