Juniors seems to be finally hitting their stride. Being owned and operated by staff from the dearly departed Vesuvios Pizza, it was billed as place for all those Junctionites who mourned the loss of their beloved pizza joint. I ordered a pie shortly after they opened. It was a good pie, kind of like a Vesuvio's pie, but not quite right. The flavour of the dough wasn't quite the same, and definitely lacked the same light, but crispy edge. I put that down to all the equipement being new; not having 60+ years of flavour already baked in. My next visit, I grabbed a pepperoni slice (no corners though, the guy before me bought them all). It was better, much closer to the "squares" I would devour walking through the Junction. My most recent visit, was much better. I got two corner slices, which any Vesuvio's regular knows are the best. While the slices were not exactly like the used to be, they were pretty darn close. Hot, fresh and delicious. Juniors is only improving. In 60 years they might even be better than the original. Edited to included the Home Alone themed Christmas decore.

So glad that the owners of Vesuvio’s opened up this new place, Juniors. Ive tried the Zio’s, Jimbo’s and Earth Angel pizzas... Some excellent pies. Thin crust, has a nice slight crispiness to it. Toppings are all good quality. I would say Jimbo’s was my personal favorite, kind of a “meat lovers” pizza, very hearty (pictured below). Earth Angel was a vegetarian pizza, it had feta, pesto, spinach... A nice combo of flavors and saltiness. Really, really good. Friendly guys at the counter, pretty quick making the pizzas even when theyre busy. Go give them a try, they wont disappoint. Highly recommended EDIT- To that guy Tony Giusto giving a 1 star, ive had way more pizza than him guaranteed and this place is legit. He’s just got terrible taste lol. Love Juniors

I parked outside while I waited for my wife's Thai order to be ready a little down the road. The pizza smell got to me and I had to go in.i asked for advice on what to try for my first visit and the 1st guy said the pepperoni is always a good intro. The 2nd guy suggested to try the Margherita so I took both. Both were delicious. slices have a Nice heft for a slim crust pizza so you aren't left hungry. You can really taste the spices in the Margherita, the cheese and the pepperoni were also tasty if you are the kind of person that likes to pick at your pizza as you go. I'll definitely be going back for more. This is great pizza to have with a beer but mine didn't make it all the way back home.

wow this place rocks so much.

juniors is the community hub pizza joint that i grew up seeing in movies.

the owner is a salt of the earth dude who was wonderful to me and my friends when we rolled up on a saturday night in june, completely indecisive about what we wanted (the worst kind of roll up tbh LOL).

he's clearly making such an effort and succeeding at being a gathering spot for the people of the neighbourhood from young to old. he even has a little library in there and a free slice program for kids who want to give him an oral book report of the novels they finish :')

my friends passingly mentioned it was my birthday and we found a little treat in our bag, it's just like a million little touches from the moment we walked in to the moment we left that made us go "THAT GUY ROOOCKS" the whole walk home.

im really kinda leaving my own book report at this point, but have to also mention the pizza was absolutely delicious, extremely reasonably priced, and loaded UP. reminded me of the pizza from my childhood.

GO JUNIORS! could...

The decor of this pizzeria is modern, nice, clean looking. The pizza portion is good, standard size. However the taste is alright. To me, it's nothing special. I ordered Margherita pizza and the taste is not strong in basil and tomatoes. The probable reason why the fragrant is not as strong is they using shredded/cut basil indeed of using whole basil leaves (which I prefer). Also they put diced tomatoes indeed of sliced tomatoes. The sauce is not enough too although the boccoccini amount is very good, very strong in cheese. I like Margherita pizza and there's not many pizza places that does it besides this one along with my favourite thus far is pizzaville. The price is too expensive even though it's going for gourmet but to me, the taste is not there....
