We went to the store today to grab our usual breakfast going to work. Unfortunately the lady who is taking my order through the drive thu wasn’t helpful at all and poor customer service the girl who is taking our order she keeps on telling us that she understand me and my partner was trying to tell her but the reality she cant truly understand. So what happened was, we have placed our order through the mobile app @ 10:52AM to pick up our order which is 2 mcgriddle since we are running late than usual, we have been using the app for quite sometime already and we never had this kind of issue at all. We have arrived at the store @11:05 but again we have placed the order through mobile app @10:52AM so it actually doesn’t make sense why the lady on the drive thru was keep telling me that it is not possible to proceed with the order since its passed 11 already. Isn’t the app supposed to give the customers convenient to pick or placed their order? So I explained to the store manager which is rob that is doesn’t make sense even though you place your order an hour ago they will not proceed to make it not until you have arrived at the pick up location. Furthermore, the wait time at the drive thru was kinda long and the lady who is taking my order over the phone was trying to argue with me instead of asking me to pull forward at the window, she seems like she doesn’t put an extra effort to hear me out, I am a regular in this location who at least do a drive thru 3x a week with the same order. The lady on the phone only ask me to pull forward when I told her “can i speak to the store manager please?” and she just answered me “SURE!!!” that’s when we met Rob i guess the store manager for that location. Rob did an excellent job in giving us a great experience and amazing customer service not because, he full fill our order but because the way he approached us and listen to our situation. It wasn’t a good experience at all but then Rob have truly good experience and skills with customer service. I hope the problem with the app should be fix soon to avoid any interruptions with the service and to the lady who is taking our order earlier, I know that you are just doing your companies policy but I guess she needed more training on how to handle a proper customer service experience.

I am updating an old review as Google seems to not allow multiple reviews of a place. Before I had it at 3 stars. Now I will put it to 1 star. I went to this McD's. The drive thru line up was long so I did curbside order via the app. I figured it should be faster even though I know sometimes especially before covid , service for curbside is slower. However, I didn't think this slow. I ordered a bottled of water and a coffee. This should be a very quick order to come out. After waiting for 20mins. Yes..20 mins not 2 min, I honked to ask one of the food runners what happen to my order of a coffee and bottled water. I waited 3 more mins and then I had to leave as I was late for my meeting. I waited a total of 23 mins and I did not receive my order. This is unacceptable. This is terrible service. Granted it was busy and this location is a busy one but that is no excuse. Especially since now during covid lockdowns curbside is encouraged by law.

To my disappointment, when I get to my work I opened the bag and realized I was served with sausage McMuffin. I was a previous McDonald’s manager from a location with great standards and seeing the runner serving 3 orders off the screen while the sandwiches nor the drinks are not even ready lead to this mistake. This is the 2nd time this happened and I advise that managers should also routinely check bags to ensure accuracy. Unfortunately, on both incidents there was no manager on the floor to even do that. I won’t come back to this location again.

Went in at 6:45 am today to get a a quick sausage egg McGriddle combo and a burrito that I’ve been craving for as I am pregnant. To my disappointment, when I get to my work I opened the bag and realized I was served with sausage McMuffin. I was a previous McDonald’s manager from a location with great standards and seeing the runner serving 3 orders off the screen while the sandwiches nor the drinks are not even ready lead to this mistake. This is the 2nd time this happened and I advise that managers should also routinely check bags to ensure accuracy. Unfortunately, on both incidents there was no manager on the floor to even do that. I won’t come back to this location again.

If you are a person with children or a baby, please read! It's a McDonald's, so none of my review has to do with food, layout etc... as that is all pretty much standard, and our food and service were as to be expected. If I am reviewing a restaurant like McDonald's, it all comes down to attention to detail and taking care, or not taking care, of the customers needs.

My 1 star rating comes down to two things, both negative enough that I will not be returning to this location. The first, and most egregious of the two offenses, is that they did not have a changing table for babies in the women's restroom! I have come across this a few times in smaller independent establishments, but at a McDonald's this should be a no-brainer. It is a restaurant that specifically markets themselves to families! I have actually chosen to pull over at a McDonald's restaurant on road trips, specifically to change my baby, so the thought that there would be no change table accessible becomes extremely problematic. This specific visit I was there with my seven-month-old and my toddler, and my baby was in desperate need of a change. To bring my baby and toddler into the bathroom, which also had no wheelchair accessible doorway (making it hard to get everyone in there), and then find that there was no change table, was the cherry on a sundae of a bad day. What makes it worse is that we were at least a half an hour drive from our home as we were making the trip from downtown. To individuals who do not have babies or children it might not seem like a big deal, but I promise you, it is a very big deal to be faced with that challenge, especially in a restaurant that I felt catered to my families needs.

The second issue I had with this McDonald's was the play place. Again, I specifically chose to pull over at this location because I felt it would specifically cater to my needs in that moment with my toddler and baby. We had been on the road for a while and I was really happy about the idea of my toddler burning off some steam. Unfortunately, I could not stay in the play place for longer than 5 minutes. It seems like a simple design flaw, but one of their large ceiling fans is installed right next to one of their lights, so as it spins it creates a strobe light effect throughout the play place. Within 5 minutes I was developing a headache and feeling nauseous from the constant pulsating of the lights. I'm sure it doesn't bother some people, but both myself and my toddler couldn't stand the lighting and had to leave.

I couldn't be more disappointed with our visit, as I was desperately looking for a place to decompress and breakup our incredibly long drive with my little ones. Instead I was given multiple challenges at this location.

To management, if you do nothing else, please invest in a change table ASAP or I promise you that you are losing more customers than...

After calling the 3150 St. Clair Ave. E McDonald's location for a week with no answer and then having McDonald's Canada HQ tell me to visit in person to inquire about a birthday party, I went in. The Manager on duty said they were waiting for the decorating kits (2-3 months wait time) but indicated the staff could book the big table in the Playland and I could order McDonald's food and bring my own cake. She explained Playland would be open to other kids (this was ok by me) but that the big table would be reserved. She offered McDonald's ballons as well since they did have those for kids. She asked me to come back to the restaurant and book closer to the date I wanted.

I did that today, gave all my details and was ready to pay the $12.99/child fee for 10 children. The same Manager as the first visit then spoke with the franchise owner who refused the party outright. The reason given was that they will not book anything until they receive their branded decorating kits because they don't want complaints from parents.

Not impressed at all. Enough time was wasted with all of this that now it's cutting it too close to find an alternative birthday venue. McDonald's has been losing market share popularity for years and it's really not surprising with poorly demonstrated...
