I got takeout lunch specials here twice, two weeks in a row. Service okay. Prices pretty cheap. Quality meh.

The first time, the rolls were decent and the sushi was just okay as the rice was a bit dry, and unseasoned and the rolls as in plain as heck. The rolls are not great quality, but okay for the price if you want plain tasting. If you want tasty sushi go elsewhere.

Second time, same as above except they messed up my order. I ordered the exact same combo, but they gave me a different roll, but when I called to advise they immediately took action and advised that I’d get a replacement on my next visit so that made up for their error. The rolls however weren’t that great this time. Normally, food is good in quantity, but the rolls were too enormous stuffed with rice that it took away from a good quality roll. Rolls have too much rice and are too dense, not flavourful, and it makes me wonder if they’re not using sushi rice or mixing sushi rice with regular rice...something is not right.

This place seems okay if you’re not looking for amazing rolls and want to be cheap, but you won’t feel satisfied you were stingy.

Update: I got my replacement today. It is only a replacement of the roll that they messed up. Again quality is meh AND based on my last experience, this time when I called to order pickup and they said it’ll be ready in 10mins, I told them that I’ll be later. I wanted my food to taste fresher, but it didn’t seem to matter for the quality and the girl also didn’t ask them to delay making it. They still made it quite early so if ordering do not order too early. I’ll go back to my regular sushi joint (more satisfying!) unless I want a cheap...

We've been to this sushi place multiple times, both for dine-in and takeout, and it has consistently been a fantastic experience. Recently, they made some improvements to their dining area, which has truly elevated the entire experience. The atmosphere is now even more comfortable and enjoyable, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. As always, their sushi remains top-notch. We’ve tried various rolls over the years, and each time we are impressed by the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The sushi is delicious, flavorful, and well-prepared, making it worth every bite.

Another thing we love about this place is their great price point. Sushi can sometimes be pricey, but this spot offers fantastic value for the quality you get. It’s hard to beat when you’re looking for a sushi spot that combines both taste and affordability.

We’ve made this our go-to sushi place, and there’s no sign of that changing anytime soon. Whether it’s a casual dinner out or a quick takeout order, we know we can count on this place to deliver great food every time.

Ordered eel & avocado handroll and teriyaki chicken with curry through Ritual.

I started with the roll and it was surprisingly good for the price. However the problem kicked in with the curry dish.

To qualify my background I come from Korean family and have had countless servings of Japanese and Korean curry both from home and at restaurants. So I know what a normal Japanese curry tastes like.

The curry was outright sour and I could tell it went bad, I mean so bad it is no longer a food.

Being disappointed I took the dish back for an exchange and to talk to the management. However the frontstaff who dealt with me was busy explaining they make a batch in the morning and they had one other complaint the same day. So if they reprepared the dish it would've tasted the same. No apologies whatsoever or no show of being apologetic and just bluntly offered a refund on the item.

After a long and tough day of work I was not in the mood to further argue and just took the partial refund accounted for the curry dish.

They need some serious training in food controlling specifically in temperature control, AND how to deal with legitimate complaints.

It was my first visit but would probably be the last one, at least for the next long while.
