As my second visit to an Osmow’s, I opted to order the chicken shawarma again but this time on rice instead of fries. Like the previous time, I ate about half of the order and then started having a hard time finishing it. After the initial deliciousness, you begin to realize how overly sauced everything is. A lot of the chicken was dry and and even the sauce couldn’t mask the dry crisp of certain pieces. The salad was ok and I do like that they give you several options. But overall, the shawarma has way too much sauce that drowns what would still be a below average plate. Service here was ok as the order was prepared quickly. The place itself also looked clean and had plenty of seating for those eating in. Prices here are also on the higher end for shawarma. After tax my meal came out to $17.13. Which confused me a bit as the chicken shawarma dinner was $13.50, so after tax that should have only been around $15. My only guess was that because I chose to pay with credit card, they charged me extra. Not cool. Overall, I won’t be back to an Osmow’s again as I can easily get better shawarma for cheaper elsewhere.

I used to love this place not until I saw this outside there main door twice.First was a saturday around 8:30am last 2-3 months ago I guess it was still summer and Second was yesterday Nov.6 around 8am. There are racoons, squirrels and skunks going around the plaza at night and you leave you’re PITA BREAD outside so how can u guys assure us that they never come in front of those bread.First and foremost FOOD SAFETY.We love your food and we trust you but with this NOT ANYMORE. I posted this picture for you guys to be aware not to ruin you.I hope you’ll do something about it.

If you eat at this place and you like it, you must be either lost your taste buds or your Indian… I have asked the guy if they make good falafel he started shaking his head and said yeah we do so I order a super large sandwich which ended up costing 17$ with a drink … the sandwich was full of lettuce sauce cucumber and bread… there was 4 peice of falafel in the xr large wrap … I was drinking the sandwich from the amount of sauce … this place is nasty and should be closed down , washroom stinks .. there is no way or form this would represent the Middle East food

HI Osmow's.

I am going to file a complaint to the FDA in regards to every location under your franchise.

Your esrablishments have a sign that sais "Why Osmow's employees do not wear gloves?" And goes on to explain that Apparently "you can ensure each and every customer that your staff wash their hands VERY FREQUENTLY and do near wear gloves for multiple reasons".

I can ensure you that your policy is flaud. Of the 5 locations I have been too. I might have seen 1 person wash their hands prior to handling the food.

In this location specifically (Steels and dufferin) the server came with his phone in his hand, exchanged money with me and a customer behind me and went ahead to handle the food and complete my order. It is also worth mentioning that the he was sick.

In another location (4700 KEELE Street location) everybody had a great saucy meal with a great suprise of facial hair in nearly every meal; not including the fact that he never washes his hands.

If this consistent issue does not get taken care of, many people will be more then happy to sign a petition and letter to shut down each and every single franchise open to date.

Please address the issue.

If you would like to contact me I have no problem disclosing the video and picture evidence to each claim I have made.

I would like to address that to each customer that would like to purchase food from any of Osmow's restaurants' to check the FDA's website and search for all the infractions noted in each of Osmow's'...

Went here as we drove past it. Tried the food and it was amazing...good quantity lots of meat and different options which were always a plus the wait time was about 20mins.....for takeout which is ridiculous. Decided to suggest the place the very next day to family and wow. Less than 24 hours my experience here went from great to freaking horrible. We ordered $84 dollars worth of food to feed 7 people and all of the meat was burnt...the portion sizes were all over the place there was literally about 2 spoons of rice in a large box which again is ridiculous....people who had the same exact order maybe got 8 pieces of lamb where the other box had 14 the meat was so badly cut it was basically all gristle...I'm not one to complain but $84 dollars is a HUGE amount of money. Called and complained to the manager and he lied and told us that the boxes are all pre arranged.....not sure if this guy is even in the store to begin with to see that they clearly make the food and put it in the boxes as they are ordered there's no food in the boxes prior to being ordered because what chain restaurant even does that. Our salads were dry some salads had more than the others some had little to no dressing and some were doused in dressing....honestly it'd one thing to screw up a meal but to screw up 7 different dishes all at once is ridiculous....and to blatantly lie to the customer to say that's how it is....this manager should feel ashamed...and to top it off we were given a 40 minute...

We've had all sorts of Mediterranean fare in the past, and Osmow's definitely provides a very interesting variation on the format. Had the chicken shawarma & Greek salad here at night...and what can I say - it was most delicious, filling, especially the dressing and texture. A little on the pricier side, but it's such a good experience that I've been coming to Osmow's restaurants again and again over the weeks to have them "make what we're cravin'" indeed!

What's really nice about Osmow's and what makes them unique from other local Mediterranean joints (not that I have anything bad to say about them at all) is the meals are very customizable. You can make the 'big plates' as mild or spicy as possible. With the lowest amount of spice, it didn't even seem spicy at all - I recommend putting at least level 3 (4x) if you want something that's not too hot yet is satisfyingly spicy.

Another really great thing about eating here is that if you don't like to have rice, they give you the option of putting veggies instead. GREAT for those with dietary restrictions.

We were at this location 10pm at night, had just enough time to order and eat before they closed, and the owners started playing loud Middle Eastern pop music - a very cool touch.

Perfect for your eat-in and...
