Osmow's Shawarma — Restaurant in Toronto

was here a while ago im writing today because i was just on another osmows location and the experience was different. When we visited this location, my friend went there late night when there was a few lineup already (maybe one or two). The employees were busy making priority on the uber orders apparnetly and my friend who ordered directly in the store (and who also live far away and had a long driving to do back home) had to wait almost 30 min for a simple wrap and a platter order for two. They were not able to accomodate his custom order even if they say he was wiling to pay for it (it was some toppings they already have in line). Also, after a while some male worker yelled at another worker saying "you know how much this guy has been waiting?" and they were making a scene in front of customers which made my friend very uncomfortable. Whoever made the scene should have kept it behind closed doors and not infront of the customers that is not professional at all. I went to another osmows location in different city and it was a different expereicne than the experience i had in this location. Your staff is not only unprofessional but very slow and appanrety they were not hygigenic at the restaurant when they were working. Won't be coming to this location or any other location the ownership might have take place by same person as...

I’m a big fan of Osmow’s. For better or for worse, I eat it probably at least twice per week. But, there are some Osmow’s that are definitely better than others. Today, I went out of my way to come here because it’s rated 4.5*. I knew from the moment I opened my large salad this was definitely one of the good ones. First, the guy serving was super nice and friendly. But, the salad was actually really full. I mean, with a Coke Zero, I’m probably spending $25 out the door for the large, so not exactly cheap, but when it’s nice and fully loaded, it’s worth it. One thing I happen to love about Osmow’s is that even at the locations which aren’t always perfect, I’m always getting fresh veggies in the salad. I’ve never ever gotten a salad with wilted or old veggies, and I’m completely addicted to the beyond steak options and although I love the wraps, I almost always end up with the salad. For something like $3.5 more, there also really no reason not to make it a large. In all, so good and so filling....

I usually order from this Osmow’s location (3210 Lakeshore Blvd W) and never had a problem before, but this time I was very disappointed. Yesterday, I ordered a large chicken on the rice. When I picked up the order and got back to work, I realized the chicken quantity was very low. I called the store right away, and they told me to take a photo and come back the next day for a replacement.

When I went back today, instead of giving me a proper replacement, the manager told me I should have brought the food back. Honestly, if I was hungry at that time, how could I save the food and not eat it? On top of that, they only offered me “extra chicken” instead of remaking the full dish. That doesn’t make sense—if you give less food to a customer, the right thing is to replace the full order, not just add chicken without rice.

This experience was very frustrating, and I felt the service was not fair. I hope the management improves their customer service and handles these situations properly...
