My partner and I love Pam's! We moved away from this area but we still come back for Pam's. Our favourite order is a curry chicken roti and a curry goat roti, and doubles on the side. They are very reasonably priced and the doubles are a great cheap snack. When you receive the roti it is hot and never soggy, even if you have it delivered. They put a layer of chickpea between the roti and curry fillings and it keeps the moisture from penetrating the bread and also tastes delicious. The portions are good, the filling to bread ratio is perfect, and the taste is rich and delicious. The doubles are also a good vegetarian option. It has a yummy chickpea filling sandwiched between fried dough. So easy and filling when you're in a pinch. The interior and employees make the atmosphere feel very homey and welcoming. I am always pleased with their service and efficiency when ordering for takeout. Sometimes you will see them making all the different fillings in the kitchen while you're ordering, it's all very genuine. I will definitely be returning for more food from here because I'd like to make a bigger dent in their menu. I've loved everything I've had and I'm excited to try more.

If you’re looking to get the best Roti in Toronto, look no further than Pam’s. To be fair, I am a visitor to the city, but a frequent visitor at that. And every time I come to town I try and find my new favourite place. Well, Pam’s is swell. The flavour of the Jerk Chicken roti is truly awesome, and the spice level is perfect. Not so spicy that you can’t handle it, but spicy enough that a spice lover like me is still fully satisfied. Lastly, at only $10.50 for a massive roti and side salad (which was also bomb af), it might be the best deal in town, too. Usually I try to incorporate some sort of funny joke into my reviews but in this case the quality is no joke. Seriously good food at a seriously good deal. V friendly staff too.

Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts! Goat Curry Roti - This is what I would imagine a delicious, soul-warming home-cooked dish would taste like from a Jamaican household. Wrapped cozily inside a dhalpuri roti is a savoury, comforting curry spiced wonderfully with potatoes that soak up and lock in that flavour and some tender lamb chunks that have a distinct but pleasant lamby flavour that I adore.

I've loved Pam's for over 5 years since I lived in the area. I'm now a 40 min drive away, but I still make my way here at least once a month.

Prices have gone up a bit, but they're not unreasonable for what you get. Staff are super friendly. Only get the roti, and any roti. I've tried everything else and it's all average.

Now the roti. It's all homemade and somehow I have yet to find a better dhal puri, coupled with a delicious curry (highly recommend the goat), it just hugs your insides. Portions are enough for even the hungriest eaters!

Order ahead or plan on taking a walk, because it is homemade and it will take almost as long as homemade. Expect a wait of 20-30 minutes for your order depending on how many people are there and how much you've ordered. You can call ahead...

Pam' Roti is my favourite Roti in the city (and currently my go to place for doubles!)

Their boneless goat Roti is absolutely incredible. Everything is made in house. It is all exceptionally flavourful. They even make their own sauces as well which you can buy by the jars.

The prices are most reasonable and for the quality of food, there is no place I would rather get my Roti and doubles! I have tried a few other dishes as well. I cannot remember the names of them all, but everything was freshly made to order. The pakora was amazing!!

Personally, I do not mind waiting for my order as I get a chance to bask in the absolutely amazing smells coming from the kitchen. :)

If you are in a hurry, I recommend calling ahead and placing an order...
