Ordered sesame wuhan noodles with beef brisket. Noodles were ok, sauce and overall taste of the dish was bland (not much layering of flavours). Beef brisket did not have much flavour. The only flavour was the sesame sauce throughout, would give 0 stars. For 12.99 there are better alternative.
The other order was a noodle soup, which was about the same: very bland flavour. The flat noodles didnāt seem it was thoroughly cooked as it was still sticking together 3 strands as one. Egg was just normal, didnāt taste any seasoning even though it was coloured. Chicken wing was literally two pieces and was lightly flavoured. Not anything specially, the honey glaze was good but not much marinade inside.
Not recommended for the price. Combos could be better priced but the main problem is the taste. Hoping this isnāt what traditional Wuhan taste is. The one at pmall food court is much better and about...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHighly recommend the Fish Broth Rice Noodles here! I'd say, they taste even better than the Asian rice noodles out there #sorrynotsorry
The noodles are chewy-good and it doesn't go soggy after a while. The ingredients they use seemed to be of quality with lots of fish fillet, spam, lettuce, and 3 quail eggs at least! The fish broth is so delicious; I literally want to drink it all lol.
All the skewers can adjust spicy level, and can have no spicy at all, which I really appreciate. The lamb skewers are my favourite go-to!
And you have to get the hot soymilk ^^ It comes nice and hot, and very smooth, tasty, and not as sweet.
The staff is also friendly and courteous, spoke good English, and made sure we enjoyed our food and experience.
Definitely will be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat place to eat a hearty bowl of noodles! I've never tried authentic Wuhan hot dry noodles before but I am a fan of the noodles at this place. I got the shredded chicken noodles at medium spice level, and the aromatic sesame sauce along with bite-sized pieces of pickled radishes make a balanced combo. I am quite impressed at the quality of the shredded chicken as well, as there are next to no fatty pieces, koodos to the restaurant owners for providing great ingredients.
I also ordered Siu mai, which comprised of sticky rice, shiitake mushrooms, and pork. It was tasty but dense, especially after a big bowl of saucey noodles.
I really it was a great meal, especially if you enjoy...
