Brand New Pho Spot in Scarborough where Pho shops are a dime a dozen.
Order - Stone Pot Pho, Bun Bo Hue, Beef Banh mi, Vietnamese coffee, Appetizer platter
Location 4/5 Parking may vary since the location is good and it's in a big plaza but considering there are several pho shops in the area, it's hard to find the right one. Nonetheless, it's in a convenient location.
Service 4/5 I think the owner/manager is still training some new employees but the shop is new so I can forgive some hiccups and the management is super friendly and nice. I cannot give them anything less than an A for effort.
Value 5/5 Honestly, I don't know if it is the 10% off grand opening special or if this place is just slightly cheaper, but considering the portion and how much we ordered, it's very good. I ate one meal and was good for the whole day.
Taste - 5/5 Huge portions of meat. Very tasty pho broth. Bun Bo Hue was nice. A bit mild for my taste but not bad. Again nice portion of meat. Spring rolls were delicious and loaded with meat. The salad rolls had nice chicken and shrimp inside. Packed with flavor. The Banh mi had a perfectly crisp and light bun with some smokey and savory beef. Vietnamese coffee was served in a latte form with foamy milk at the top. A bit different than traditional but very good.
Overall 5/5 I think this place for the price especially is amazing. Pho shops nearby are great to ok, so this is a super competitive area. I mean pho is pho to me (i apologize to the pho enthusiasts). I eat a lot of pho, most of them are close to the same. Either really good, good, decent or really bad. I would place this shop in the really...
Read morePho Hue has an extensive menu with a variety of traditional dishes along with some speciality items and sandwiches as well. Their actual pho is slightly smaller than other restaurants, but prices trend lower as well so it’s a good choice for smaller appetites. I easily polished off the large ox tail rice noodle soup ($19.95), as there wasn’t a lot of noodles. But it did have plenty of fall-off-the-bone ox tail, which was a nice change from the typical flank or brisket and easier to eat than a hulking beef rib.
The broth was satisfying - piping hot, salty enough, and relatively clear. Perhaps, not quite as nuanced in flavour as some places, it still hit the spot on a cold winter day. I enjoyed all the fresh herbs garnishing the bowl, they gave the dish a bright punch.
Their noodles were 100% better than the complimentary vegetarian spring roll (normally $7.95 for two pieces) that was given in return for posting a Google review. I’ve had better spring rolls at buffets: at least they’re not as oily and even buffet fillings are more substantial than the paltry cabbage and carrot that makes up Pho Hue’s. It’s a shame Pho Hue serves their spring rolls plain… a vinaigrette would really help cut through the oiliness.
At least service was friendly and because it’s not overly busy very attentive. During their grand opening period, they’re also offering 10% off, so the meal was at least budget friendly. Just make sure to bring something other than a credit card as they are cash...

I had the pleasure of dining at this pho restaurant recently, and I can confidently say it was a 10 out of 10 experience from start to finish. The quality, flavor, and attention to detail truly set this place apart.
The pho was exceptional—rich, aromatic broth with perfectly cooked noodles and fresh, well-balanced toppings. Every spoonful was comforting and full of depth, showcasing the care that goes into the preparation.
Equally impressive was the banh mi. The baguette was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, filled with savory, well-seasoned ingredients that complemented each other beautifully. It was easily one of the best banh mi sandwiches I’ve had.
The service was prompt and courteous, and the ambiance was clean, welcoming, and true to the spirit of authentic Vietnamese cuisine.
Whether you’re a pho enthusiast or just looking for a great meal, this spot is not to be missed. Highly...
