A once-great Papa John's in shambles.
Been a customer since this location opened, but not anymore. This location was the absolute best (The BEST) until (I assume) new management took over or just a whole new staff came in, now it is just a garbage location. There is ZERO customer service or appreciation and the food quality is almost non-existent.
I used to come to this location and get beautiful, tasty pizzas, full of toppings. The staff cared about customer service and making good food. The former boss (Rom, Ram, Rahm.. don't know how to spell it) made sure I liked the pizza or he would make it again personally.
The current administration does not care about its customers, only their money. When I walk in, they do not even acknowledge my presence for a minute or two. I am left to just stand there waiting to be served. They look at you, but don't even say hello. A couple months back, I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak Papadia. Normally this is a pocket loaded with toppings that I would have to hold carefully to not spill. This time, it was basically crust, four or five pieces of meat, and a bit of sauce and cheese. Eating the box might have been tastier. I took the online survey to complain and asked to be contacted. Never heard anything. I received a follow up from head office - 'how did the location resolve the issue' - I said they did not, head office said they would follow up. Never heard anything.
A couple weeks ago it was 50% off week. I ordered online and went in for a Saturday night pie. The confirmation email told me it would be ready in 16 minutes. I went into the restaurant at minute fifteen, as usually they're done early. Once again I was ignored by staff. After a minute, one guy asked if I was picking up. I confirmed and gave him my name. He told me the pizza was I the oven, five minutes. I waited and watched customer after customer come in and be ignored. Ten minutes later, another employee asked if I was picking up. I gave him my name and he walked away, saying it would be a few minutes. Soon, a food delivery courier who was also waiting for over ten minutes came to the counter and yelled at the employees, "what is going on!?" Staff just ignored him. After half an hour of waiting, the second guy I spoke to took a pizza off the rack that had been sitting there for who knows how long, and handed it to me. I asked how long that had been sitting there. He felt the box and told me it was "still warm". In a rare move on my part due to my hangry-ness and how unacceptable this was, I told him I needed my money back. Ridiculous!
All that being said, there is one young lady who was there during the good times. Curly brown hair, often wears a hat. She still provides great service. When I went in to pick up the last purchase I made before the aforementioned fiasco, she recognized me and handed me my pizza so I did not have to wait in line behind people ordering. She's a good one.
In summary, this location needs new staff or new management, and lessons in customer service and pizza making. It's a shame to see this location have such a...
Read moreDon't order from here they skimp on the toppings and don't care! I ordered 2XL pizzas, each with three toppings, from this location and the experience was deeply disappointing. The pizzas arrived with an embarrassingly small amount of toppings, basically tasted like a cheese pizza and I paid extra for toppings for no reason. This is not what I expect from Papa John’s, especially given the price paid for 2XL pizzas with 3 toppings.
What made the situation worse was the response when I called to address the issue. The staff dismissively stated that they follow the Papa John’s standard rule of measurements, which felt like a canned excuse rather than a genuine effort to resolve the problem. I’ve ordered from numerous other Papa John’s locations and have never encountered such a blatant lack of toppings or quality control. This is clearly an issue specific to this location.
The lack of accountability and refusal to acknowledge the problem is unacceptable. As a customer, I expect better quality and service, especially when raising a legitimate concern. This experience has significantly damaged my trust in this location, and I will not be ordering from here again. Skimping on toppings and dismissing customer complaints is not only unprofessional but also detrimental to the Papa John’s...
Read moreThis is probably the hardest review I've written. I have wanted to eat a Papa Johns for ages. I finally had the chance while I was killing time. I ordered a large pepperoni with extra cheese. It was a cold, snowny night, which I thought was perfect pizza weather. I was especially excited for the Papa Johns garlic sauce that everybody raves about. There are 10 million youtube videos about making it home. The service at the restaurant was amazing. The staff was friendly and experienced. My order was made quickly, and when i opened the box, the pizza looked immaculate. Then I ate it. The crust was way too thick and doughy. The tomato sauce was flavorless red corporate machine lubricant. The pepperonis? Dare I call them that. The grocery store, no-name ronies have more flavor. Eating this pizza was like watching a 2020's Tom Hanks movie. You know what it should be! It was so amazing in the past. But this falls short and forgets what it was. Like a 2020's Tom Hanks movie. If i experience it again, it'll be because I was invited, and I'm relying on the company to make up for the deficit. ...I almost forgot. The famous garlic sauce that have people doing backflips? It tastes like unsalted butter with a tincture of garlic....
