Five Guys — Restaurant in Toronto

I'd like to start off by saying that Five Guys is my absolute favourite fast-food/semi-fast food joint in Toronto. All of them are great, this just happens to be the closest to my house and I love it a lot. The burgers are juicy and cooked perfectly (which means the slightest touch of pink here), the toppings are on point and they're relatively quick. Even wrapped in tinfoil, these burgers are always best enjoyed as fresh as possible, so eat 'em there.

The only thing holding this back from a five-star review is the options - I absolutely love their burgers, but if you ever go here with someone who wants anything other than a burger they are completely out of luck. Now their fries are great, and you can get them with a cajun seasoning if you want, but that is it. No rings, no poutine, no gravy. I am completely fine with all of this, but you should know it walking in. Oh and the "veggie sandwich" is literally just toppings, FYI.

First time here, ordered the smallest burger possible with small fries and a drink. Got my food and the bag was full of fries(it was what most places give you for an xl fries and then some)and a double burger. My bill was $25 and I wasted half of it because all I wanted was a single patty burger combo with small fries and small drink(equivalent to the Whopper Jr combo from burger king) Then when I told employee that I was not happy, that's not what I wanted and I said that the menu should say 1 patty or 2. She then gave me attitude saying I should know the menu. It was my first time ever in this place and she said that it's not her problem that I didn't know the menu. Then they want a tip on top of that. So in total I paid almost $30 for a meal that I did not want. I told the employee I only ate half because I asked for the smallest burger they have and got the biggest burger they have. Employees are not friendly or helpful in anyway. After I left I found out that I could have gotten the smaller burger combo for like $15. Just to upcharge the customer. Waste of money. Will not...

I’m very dissatisfied with my order today, I order a grill cheese +patty which I’ve ordered before from this location with no issues. However today I was faced with an opposition. The employee whom was in charge of the shift today at approximately 9pm told me that my patty would have to be on the side because “they don’t do that at this location” I proceeded to show her that not only does the website allow such action but I’ve also had a recent order from earlier in the week where I ordered the same order and received it with no issues. My sandwich came with the patty (room temperature) on the side and my grill cheese without the extra cheese I paid for and it was not even melted. My mom also was with me and order a little bacon cheese burger which wasn’t even room temperature, she ended up having to request for a remake. Side note I requested to speak to the manager and she told me she’ll contact them, went to the back and came back not saying anything about a manager to me.
