Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Toronto

Will never order from this location again. Received my pizza and found a piece of wood in my food & threw out the pizza. Called customer service and explained I would like a refund. They said they can only replace the item. Because i found a foreign object in my food, at this point my stomach was turned and knew I would not consume this pizza and would choose not to eat at this location again. Asked once more for a refund- i was refused and offered the replacement. I agreed even tho it was just going to go to waste. 3 separate customer service agents proceeded to call me, asking for the old pizza back. I explained again to each of them- Its been trashed and I will not be going thru my garbage, but will provide them with the object I found in the pizza.“Okay we apologize ma’am.”

Fast forward, delivery guy arrives. I open up the door, I intend to apologize to him that he had to come to my location a second time, before I can open my mouth he cuts me off “where’s the pizza.” Does not say hello, anything. At this point I am fuming. He is now refusing to give the pizza without the old one. I don’t even want this second pizza at this point, off principle alone I was not allowing this guy to treat me like a thief. I explain everything for the 10th time, he once more is rude and calls the store. Lady on the phone wants a picture of the pizza then caves n says to give me the pizza. Delivery guy then refuses to take The foreign object i placed in ziplock baggie. I am finally able to get him to take this from me.

At no point did I intend to escalate this situation until i was made to feel like a thief and NO ONE from this location including the entry level customers service agent had any genuine concern for the health and safety concern revolving unintended objects in ones food.

Thankful a very kind supervisor from the customer department treated me like a human being and issued me a full refund & honestly saved my patriotism with pizza pizza as a company.

I will never order for this Location 1700 Wilson Ave, Toronto Ontario- located in Sheridan Mall. Their poor customer service is one things, I do understand people try to swindle free food all the time. They need a class on decorum and judgement. However their lack of concern surrounding a health concern is astounding and only leads me to believe their health and safety standard are not up to par & I can no longer trust them to consume food.

It’s a shame id rather keep the money inside my community and keep my business local even tho it is a corporate...

The first time I came here, I did a phone order for pick up and my experience was not good at all. Not only was I struggling to understand the agent on the phone who took my order the in person customer experience was also terrible. Upon reaching my house I opened the box of pizza and quickly realized it was undercooked. I had to put the pizza in my own oven to ensure it would cook fully so I would not get sick. It would have been better to buy a frozen pizza at the Walmart or superstore nearby.

Two weeks later I decide to give them the benefit of the doubt and maybe it was just one time mistake they made. This time however, I ordered in the store. Not only was the lady behind the counter seemed like she would rather be anywhere else but taking my order the pizza tasted as bland as her personality. There was barely any cheese on this pizza. The only good thing I can say is that they cooked it well done as I instructed after my previous incident.

If you have no others options than I’d say come to this location, but honestly, there’s better options nearby. This location clearly has a consistency error that they need to improve on in both quality of food...

This quality of service took me to my breaking point, normally the service is good upon delivery but I got no phone call when I chose contactless and added a note to call. I'm no sure who's on the delivery shift at 12-3 because they straight up and took my order. Im a university student during exam week and I need to get food delivered once in a while. I go out and my order isnt there but the riser that they put is still there. Ik that the neighbors didn't take it because they are all old people. I got a call saying the delivery guy would come back in around 5 ish minutes but even if I misheard the time I waited 1 hour and still got nothing. I cannot believe I got robbed 27 hard earned dollars tip included. This isn't fair to me or any other person that had the same problem, while in a pandemic things like this this is happing?!? This makes me not want to order from pizza pizza, I thought they were a good and honest company with trustworthy employees but this service tells...
