Pizza Pizza - Summer Location — Restaurant in Toronto

an update my of review from the last year: I would like to compliment one of the ladies who work there. I visited on a really hot day (Monday, June 24) and it was really busy, but she had a nice smile and greeted every customer and wished us a good day after we got our food/drinks. a really great customer service!

I usually order the veggie slice plus pop combo - and I am always happy with it: I get it fast and it tastes great (fresh air and hours of walking or cycling definitely contribute to this very positive opinion). the prices are higher than in the city, but I guess it costs to ship all the ingredients to the island. I usually grab my food and eat it farther away in the park - the nearby shared patio is not as pleasant as one would wish. considering quite limited food options on Toronto Islands, this...

One of the worst experiences I've had at any restaurant.

When I asked about the types of pizzas available, the cashier (wearing black sunglasses) responded with unnecessary snark and attitude. She was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I also bought a coffee and when I looked inside I realized she didn't put any cream so I asked for the cream packets. She responded with a bad attitude and told me they ran out, and so only milk was available. That information should have been communicated before I paid, not after.

I was left with no option but to use milk packets that were sitting out on the counter, even though they were labeled "must be refrigerated." The milk tasted awful and smelled off. I felt unwell after drinking it and ended up throwing it away. Extremely disappointed with the service and...

Just awful. The prices are way higher than any other location in the city, which I can live with as the cost of operations is higher at the islands (and it is a tourist trap). The quality of the pizzas is awful - dry, stale and raw dough.. And the flies inside the pizza "heater" are another thing. No gloves or hairnet or clean hands it seems - lack of health safety measures by staff. And the staff cut the 1 slice closed container into 2 open size containers so I wonder if there is theft going on? Bad experiences a few times and I will never return or recommend.
