We went to this location to order some chicken and sandwiches and since it was leap month the sandwich were on promo on the app . The person working doesn’t even tell us when clearly she knows . The manager also doesn’t say a word . When ordered and ask can we be eligible she said no . Spend extra $ for no reason . I’ve seen even when there are daily special deals they don’t tell clients and make them spend full price . Was never like this before at this location . Not coming back . What a shame . It’s not like the leap promo was going to make the owners profit less . Popeyes gives back to the owners the difference in cost upon checking number of sandwich sold. Employee step up your game otherwise if sales tank so will ur job . Let people know about the daily specials just like how any other Popeyes location does . There are like 5-6 Popeyes Location in Scarborough u guys are not alone here . Unexperienced ...

The traffic light to exit the parking lot seems to not work properly, I often get stuck trying to get out, especially if a driver in front of me doesn't pull right up to the sensor; the order can also be quite slow at times, so be prepared to take up some time.

Outside of this, the restaurant is mostly good, I've only ever had the tenders at this location, but if they're any indication of the portions and quality of everything else, they can easily put KFC out of business.

The main consistent knock I have on this location is that it seems to me that the tables aren't cleaned nearly often enough for the level of traffic they experience. So you don't consistently have a clean experience dining in and you don't consistently have a fast experience when dining out. This isn't enough to prevent me from returning, but enough to prevent a five...

I've been here several times, usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays for its fried chicken specials. Chicken quality fluctuates, sometimes good, other times bad. I guess it depends on how long they leave the chicken on the warmer. The seasoning is good though. I like the Louisiana style. The chicken pieces seem to be a bit smaller. It might have to do with the kind of chicken they buy. Also, sometimes I get a tiny chicken wing counted as 1 piece, which I don't like. But I really like their Cajun Fries, it's better than the usual French Fries served in other fried chicken chains. I once ordered 2 chicken sandwich for $12 when it was on special, and was pleasantly surprised. The service quality depends on individual servers, in general ok. Not many parking spaces but easy to find a spot, probably because the business is...

UPDATE: I’ve changed my rating from 2 back to 5 stars. Great staff and customer service. Would benefit from learning some of the discounts that are offered and their codes from Popeyes Head Office. Other than that; the food itself is hand slaughtered halal and comes out crispy/ fresh every time. Cannot say the same for other Popeyes locations and fried chicken restaurants! Kudos and well done. Used to have a terrible time at this spot. The management has clearly changed along with the ownership. I've had the pleasure of meeting the owner on two occasions. He's great and quite humble; it shows in his staff. Greatness in service trickles down from upper management and I believe this is the reason for the kind of quality offered at the Ellesmere Popeyes. Keep up the great work! 5 stars.

Service: Is on and off, BUT I have reason to believe the employees are TRAINED to be accommodating and respectful. Like all retail/fast food the day-to-day can get to anyone. Food: Always top notch. Specials/Prices: It's a corporate JV I bet. Rarely any deals unless you're checking the app. Daily deals keep changing...for the worst..In the last 3-4 months they changed it at least twice. Thursday: $7 for 3pcs ONLY is a living nightmare. The economy in 2025 would dictate not eating there without a promo or coupon. BUYER BEWARE this is Canadian-American. They push the "Canadian owned/operated culture" being tied to Tim Hortons and such but their profits end up in Miami Florida. Which means -no doubt they're perpetually getting more expensive.
