Why are we forced to give one star and not have a choice to report the worst of the worst service? I have been in the customer service industry for over 7 years and now running a bar in Richmond Hill. This is by far the worst my family have ever encountered. From the service, driver, staff, and really disappointingly the Manager, a.k.a Mure, if that’s even her real name, but presented herself as the Manager of this location. Because I have worked in the industry, I try to be as understanding. But the treatment we got from this place was beyond unacceptable. My family had ordered 8 PCS..that’s right 8 PCS of chicken for our kids at exactly 8:46pm on a 2 minute phone call to place the order. Over an hour have passed, and our first phone call was made at 9:35pm, they apologized and said the driver was on the way. It is now 10:14pm and we made our 2nd attempt to call, this time we were upset, and the Manager, a.k.a Mure, blamed it on the fact that the driver is new even after the fact that the first call, she told us that he was on the way. We called for the 3rd time at 10:33pm and this time we addressed the service and how horrible it is taking for 8pcs of chicken, and again the Manager a.k.a. Mure, had said that she had added extra chicken, but that is not we were looking for. And again, we were told that the driver just left even after the first and second time we had spoken on the phone. Now we were at the 2 hour mark. We feel at this time, it is not necessary for us to be charge for the chicken. We called back again for the 4th time at 10:44pm, this time, the Manager a.k.a Mure answered the phone with “YES”, this time we weren’t being respectful as she has been the worst from the very beginning. And this time we asked her to call the driver as he has not show up and demanded to get a call working 5 minutes for the status of the driver and had argued with “well what do you want me to do? I added extra chicken” we responded with “we didn’t ask for the extra chicken. You can take back the extra chicken, but we would still claim the 8pcs we originally ordered.” And as crazy this all sounds, if the food was for us adults, we would’ve given up. But it was for our kids who had been waiting miserably. Within 5 minutes we called back as they didn’t return our call. This time we asked for the Manager’s name and refused to give us her last name as all we wanted to do was report it to head office. She hung up and wouldn’t answer our calls. At this point, we were livid and we want to make sure we get heard. These people should not be representing this franchise company. It gives a bad name and rubs off in the most horrible way possible. Read moreWe received the worst customer service ever from this Popeyes location. At 8:46pm this evening my family placed an order at this Popeyes location for our kids. We ordered 8 pieces of chicken and some chicken strips. Now I know what you're thinking, that's a small order so there should be no issues right?---Wrong. 9:45pm no food has been delivered so we decided to follow up on our order. The Manager(Mure, if that's you're real name) acknowledged that the order is delayed so she apologized and advised that the driver is new but is on his way. 10:15pm again, still no food delivered, this is now over an hour since we placed our order so we called for a 2nd follow up, we are now told by the same manager that the driver is on his way and that a free order of chicken was added as compensation. At this point we're irritated because our kids are hungry and are looking forward to eat what we ordered.10:33pm, yup, still no food delivered, a 3rd follow up call was made. This time the manager picks up the call with "Yes."---Is this how store managers are supposed to answer calls? I think not, we expected a little more professionalism. We asked again where our order is and we're told the driver is on his way. We requested that she contact the driver to confirm his exact location and to give us a call back in 5 minutes. No call back was received so again we had to call the store again.--time check, 10:45pm. We now advise the manager that we do not feel that we should pay for the order as it is 2 hours late and responds with "well what do you want me to do and I already gave free chicken."--- Here's another issue, we never asked for the extra chicken so throwing that in our faces just makes matters worst. As a manager of a business you should speak to your customers with more respect especially when you are the one in the wrong. To end this story, we asked for the managers name, she told us Mure and that was all. She then proceeded to hang up the phone on us when we expressed our concerns about our order.--Again, lack of professionalism. It's not like we were swearing at her or yelling we were simply very unhappy customers. At the end of it all, we NEVER actually received our order and had to, last minute, make alternate meals for the kids. Read morePopeyes is always one of my favourite place. But today I went to this location I had my worst experience. I went there as a food delivery courier. Then I decided to buy some food for me as well. But when I told them my code for the order I went to pick. They just got too busy with that order. I was calling them to place my order nobody bothered to listen. Then one girl(RUCHi) came to take my order. After placing my order I wanted my reciept but she did't give me that I kept calling, nobody paid attention. They all were taking to each other but didn’t listen to me. Then I took my food and asked her to give me reciept, while handing me the food she didn't even look at me. After getting into my car i noticed i did't get my drink. Then I went back and asked that girl that you didn't give me drink then she just said sorry but It didn't look like that she was actually sorry about that, she was just laughing and gave me the drink which she poured at least 10 minutes ago when I ordered. Then I asked for the manager she was standing at the counter then I told her everything when she asked Ruchi about that she simply said there was only one customer that's why I didn't pay much attention.
