Came here because Yayas was closed despite them saying they’re open on Google maps. This place has a lot of promise but came on a Thursday night when there were a couple of sports games on and it seemed to be pretty dead. Maybe a couple of locals. When asking our server he said he doesn’t really get too busy all the time which is a shame because I can see it being a nice spot to frequent if you lived in the area. They have karaoke nights on Tuesdays I believe, to attract more customers. After reading some of the reviews, we tried the butter chicken and were not disappointed. The baja fish tacos were also well proportioned and came with all the fixins. Wouldn’t mind coming back!

Service was great with very attentive staff. Food was fresh with appropriate temperatures. Calamari was too thinly sliced so dried out too much with cooking. The sauce served with the calamari was a curry sauce with no alternative options offered to us. We didn’t like that. Wings were perfectly crispy outside and moist inside. The honey garlic sauce had too much garlic. Steak was perfect and the mushroom sauce delicious. Chicken alfredo was tasty with good flavours. Pasta was quite al dente Good cocktails Restaurant interior is not visually appealing and could use some work and cleanup.

The food was fresh and delicious cannot complain about our server either she was quick and attentive didn't conversate too much but it was great! However, the cleanliness of this place.. 😳 it can use A LOT of dusting everywhere. It's a good thing we ordered finger food because both of our cutlery had leftover food guck on them and the plates had food residue stuck in the corners. It looks really run down and old old decor when you take a good look. The cleanliness is probably what I would focus on the most. Service and food was awesome though!

Had a rather interesting evening here. First time. My friend and I sat down, I asked the server/bartender for a rag so I could wipe the (dirty) table down. She looked annoyed and didn't say anything. Threw the menus down lol If she didn't want to wipe the table, she could've said so instead of huffing and puffing. I would've wiped it myself. I did ask for a rag after all.

Ordered the poutine and the server/bartender apologized and told us that the kitchen was cutting the potatoes to order and that they had to change the oil as well. So it would take longer than expected and because of that, it would be on the house. I thanked her. Thought that was very kind.

In the end, the second server dropped my bill off and I noticed I got charged for the poutine. So I asked if she could see if the bartender/server was going to honour her offer. If not, I would pay for it.

The server/bartender said, "On the house? Oh, I never said that. I said you will be so excited for your poutine!" My friend and I exchanged looks.

I've been in the industry and I had never promised something only to have taken it back. She even argued with the second server about it...it just made things really awkward... as if her denying her "on the house" poutine wasn't awkward enough.

The second server apologized profusely for the bad attitude, which was unnecessary. She also kept telling me to not pay for the poutine. I said I wanted to because the bartender/server was clearly getting mad.

Then the server/bartender had the audacity to say, "OK, I can take it off the bill if you don't want to pay for it!"

Lady, you were the one who offered us the poutine on the house...

She saw my tip (I ended up tipping more to cover the poutine), and then she started to apologize and said I had misunderstood her. I simply told her I was over the whole experience and to stop.

Needless to say, won't...

I enjoyed reading the options they offer but I wish they updated their menu with Vegan and Paleo as well as gluten free & dairy free options so that my friends, siblings and I had an opportunity to eat there without feeling shameful that we need to go somewhere else because they only offered a salad (one that you would have no idea if it was gluten free, dairy free or vegan). But, if you're a salad person (like myself), then at least you have that option. With that being said, I've gone there once before and I've ordered there "Cob Salad" without the cheese. Still unsure what's in their salad dressing but it was good (I assume that it has canola oil. I wish they would give you the option of just basic ingredients like balsamic vinegar and olive oil (nothing else) so that way people with health issues like myself have no health concerns or issues). Just wished when I ordered it last week that it came with avocado since that's what's written on their menu let alone egg and they don't do that. All my meal came with was lettuce, mixed peppers, cherry tomatoes, bacon and grilled chicken. So for the amount you're spending I feel...

When creating this review it asked which dishes would I recommend... I would say absolutely nothing that is deep fried I stopped by last night and ordered chicken fingers french fries onion rings chicken wings and mozzarella sticks The price is what it is it was pub food at just before 11:00 However it was inedible It honestly tasted like they hadn't changed their oil in the fryers in about 2 weeks Been absolutely everything was overcooked my girlfriend chipped a tooth trying to eat a mozzarella stick and I cut my gums open Flavor was good on the wings but that's about as big of a compliment I can give this place I used to come here to eat so much just a couple years ago and I will never go again In retrospect I would have rather to have paid the convenience store a few blocks down $80 for two beef patties rather than have this restaurant drown my food in a deep fryer and pay me $80 try and eat what I paid hard...
