An interesting place with rich history (Ashbridges family resided on the same property for 200 years), but sadly the beautiful house is not available for visiting - and was not turned into a museum. The estate belongs to the Ontario Heritage Trust, to which it was gifted by the family. It appears to house some organisations nowadays, and is not available for visiting. warmer months are probably a better time to check the location out - when it is green and colourful....

Funny enough there is an Indigenous settlement in that plot of land but not a lot of people...
