Came in for music bingo as well as karaoke, as I've heard that this bar does well. To start, I wasn't sure what to expect, as I've been told by some locals in the area that this is a fun and welcoming place to enjoy craft beer and meet other cool people. I had a blast both nights.

The service was excellent. Jen was very knowledgeable about the selection of beer, and was attentive to me as well as the other patrons that were there both nights. She recommended a flight so that I could try multiple crafts, which I ended up getting two to try all the beers that she thought I'd like. I liked them all, actually.

But I have to give the host, PJ, a special mention for making both nights a memorable experience. I came on a Thursday and had never played music bingo, but PJ explained it very well and provided some written rules to follow, and even came around to make sure everyone didn't miss anything. The music selection was fantastic, the whole bar sang along all night and I even won a couple beers to take home. But the karaoke, which I came back for on the Monday, was an intimate, safe space that I have not experienced elsewhere in Toronto. I have some anxiety about singing in front of others, but it was really fun. Everyone was so nice and applauded for every singer that was courageous enough to go up and sing. I give credit to PJ for making this space so judgement free, and they had a great voice and weren't so shy to join in for a few songs too.

Overall, I had a great evening both nights, and will be coming back again soon to sing and enjoy the great vibes (and...

I don't want to start an internet *storm, but my buddies and I went there tonight and it was *embarrassingly bad. the service was absolutely fine, but the food was a complete and utter joke. I was honestly expecting someone to come out with a hidden camera and say it was a practical joke. the "potato salad" was in fact cold scalloped potato slices that not only felt uncooked, but seemed like they had been wrenched straight from a refrigerator. my friend's "stew" was nothing of the sort, far too salty (with no "stew" element whatsoever), and returned to the kitchen with no replacement requested. I will not be returning, and I recommended to a friend of mine who lives in the neighbourhood that they never go here. no one in my party was able to finish their meal. we each had a beer and were prepared to have an enjoyable evening, but the meal was pure amateur hour, and so we left early. and to be honest it put a damper on our whole evening. not only was our food inexcusably bad, the kitchen staff were laughing and smiling and looking at their phones the whole time. this is the kind of bad that gets restaurants closed, guys. in an ideal world, the food tonight will be the worst food you ever serve while this place is open. I'm hoping that other patrons will have a better experience than we did, because any visit like ours will be unacceptable to anyone I know. I wish I could make this message self-destruct but alas, I can't....

Visited this brewery last night (Saturday the 3rd of May). The atmosphere was great and the beer was decent, but the service really soured the experience.

Unfortunately, our server was quite rude throughout the evening, and by the end of the night, she attempted to charge our group double gratuity. When I questioned the bill, she responded in a condescending tone, slowly explaining, “In Canada, there’s a 13% tax”. Even after I explained several times that the total on the bill didn’t match what was charged on the machine, she refused to acknowledge there was any issue. It wasn’t until our entire group pointed it out that she finally removed the extra charge and handed me the difference in change. However, she still refused to apologise. She blamed the machine, despite it being clear that both auto-gratuity and an additional manual 18% tip had been applied.

It’s a nice spot overall, but the server we dealt with clearly needs better training in both customer service and how the payment system works.

It’s a real shame! I live locally and was hoping this could become a regular spot. But after this experience, I don’t think that’ll...

This review pertains to a recent restaurant visit (Aug 2018); first the good... excellent staff, excellent beer, excellent gazpacho, nice environment in spite of no a/c. GF would not agree on this last point. Now the one disappointment IMO... the monkfish main. $20 dollars for the world toughest fish. Overall the flavours worked for me; less so for the GF. I'm not a monkfish expert but this can't be proper texture. Hence, -2 stars from original 5 star review (see next). If I could convince the GF to give RRB Co. a second chance I'd return. If it was up to the GF this would be a 1 star review and there wouldn't be a return visit. The following is my original review from Summer 2017... This is a beer only review from my abode in the Beaches. Highly recommended Sling Shot California Common lager. As you can see in the glass, a deep presentation. Also had the Ace Hill Vienna Lager also nice but the Sling Shot edges it out. Note: Ace Hill Beer Co. has no presence on Google Maps so I can't say any kind words vis-a-vis its product but nice characteristics as well.

Cucumber Mint beer. I know, it sounds weird, but it's a really great and refreshing beer. In fact, all the beers here were really good. The atmosphere here is that of a bar. Not a ton of tables, but a lot of space at the bar. The place is clean and perfect to sit and grab a flight. The bartender at the time was knowledgeable and made conversation with us. We traded beer recommendations and he let us read one of the craftbeer books behind the bar. We didn't get the food, but based on the beer alone, this place should not be skipped if you're looking for micro breweries in the area.

It was my first time visiting radical road, and I was a big fan! The staff were great, very friendly and attentive. The food is provided my mean bao and it was delicious, and of course the beer they make was very good. I tried the Saison and the easy peasy pale ale, both were great. They also do live music, and I was a big fan of the country tunes playing on the patio. Overall fun vibe and great spot to hang and take in the sights and sounds of leslieville. Definitely plan on visiting again soon.
