Their staff were very nice and welcoming. The sandwiches were delicious and drinks were great too. This review below is for other people who are planning to visit so more people are aware of some of their regular customers here. There were white grannies who seem to come here often during weekends. So if you are colored race be aware. I was brunching with a friend yesterday and there was already a white grandma sitting by the window and we sat one seat away from her. But she gave a racist look as soon as we sat down and started shaking her head. Clicking her tongue as well. Did we do sth?i was so confused. I tried very much to think that her reactions werent towards us. But it was too obvious to ignore. I started feeling uncomfortable. Then another white granny came in and she sat beside us then right away staired at us, shaking head and giving racial look. She even moved her sit short after. I couldnt believe what was happening. We werent loud either. We were just talking with quiet voice. I only saw and heard those racism stairs and discrimination online. I was really mad but also scared to say sth back to them. 🙁 i wish my husband was there with us coz he would hv said sth back. I wish i had more courage to say sth back to those white grannies. The entire visit was super uncomfortable and all i could do was to stair back :(((( im still so angry i couldnt hv said anything back to them ugh!!!! Be aware of them on the weekeneds!

I just had lunch at Tabule on Saturday. Then my friends and I dropped by for some lattes and sweets. And wow, that was the best Chai tea latte that I could remember ever having. It looked and tasted out of this world 🌎!!! My party’s drinks consisted of coffee lattes were exceptional as well. The desserts of marble banana bread, cookies and croissants were delish. The service was amazing 🤩. They get 5 stars all day long. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the “ Central Petk “ from “ Friends “… RIP Matthew Perry and Cheers where everybody knows your name 😀. A great place to chill out and enjoy great drinks and food. What could be better? It is a local business and they are the lifeblood of our economy. Do please 🙏 continue to support them. Happy eats everyone 😎

I googled “coffee near me” and I’m glad I selected this location. I saw the high reviews, and it has friendly, attentive staff reciprocated by friendly customers which validated this rating. Their smiles made me smile. While I waited another barista said they were getting my order in just a minute. It’s was busy but nothing crazy. I said no worries and ordered a vanilla latte (delicious). Originally, I ordered my beverage to go, but decided to stay. There is a cute, tiny seating area out front which drew me in. The autumn leaves are falling now and this coffeehouse forced me to slow down. I’m coming back 100%

Extremely rude! I went to Rachel's coffee house yesterday around 3:00 pm in the afternoon.. It was almost empty inside and maybe 6-7 people at the patio. As soon as I put my knapsack on a chair, went to order a chocolate croissant and a cappuccino. Because the owner saw my knapsack which definitely I wanted work with my laptop he said, just to let you know you have one hour limit to sit here. I said what do you mean, here is almost empty. What if I sit on the stools? He said no, people come and if it's busy they gonna leave. I said do you tell this to everyone once they come to order? He looked at me.. I said you'll lose business and I never come back here.. and he gave me a cold shoulder like he doesn't care. That was extremely rude to me. I'm in this neighborhood for 6 years and haven't seen such attitude from any of the coffee shops around. I'm a business owner and I know the importance of your behavior with a client.I don't compare with the franchise coffee shops but: Zaza Espresso Bar at Yonge and Eglinton: They are super friendly. You feel you're always welcome + amazing coffee.. de Mello Palheta Coffee Roasters, Super friendly. Amazing people, great coffee. Himalayan Java House, They politely tell you that they don't have wifi but they are amazing sisters and nice people welcoming you all the time.. their coffee & tea is super good and their latte art is very unique. La Boheme, She's amazing! Just amazing and they understand how being friendly is the first thing. Douce France, amazing lady welcoming me even when I pass the street with amazing coffee and pastries from France. I wouldn't even give one star to Rachel's if google would allow me. Very very...

I have been going loyally to this Rachel's Coffee House, named after Jack and Maria's daughter for as long as I have lived in the neighborhood. I am addicted to the hand press coffee that they serve me every day and am blessed that I can phone it in for me to pick up a short walk from my home. I find all the sandwiches, especially the smoked salmon with mango and avocado between two slices of gluten free bread extremely tasty. The other added bonus is Maria's home made soup at a cost of 5 dollars it is a real deal and very healthy. I make a point of sharing this place with strangers, neighbors, clients and friends alike because I am confident they will enjoy the atmosphere and all that goes with it. You can really tell these folks respect their customers because the washrooms are impeccable and the entire place spotless. Jack, Maria and Goretti go out of their way to ensure my satisfaction and even delivered my single cup of coffee to me when I had fallen to ill to retrieve it. The only time I am disappointed is when all the Handmade scones are sold out too early in the morning as they are really something I look forward too! I have to rate this place as simply one of the best establishments I have attended and will continue to do so because it always stays the same and you can always be assured of a pleasant greeting first thing in the morning. A great way to...
