Real Fruit Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Toronto

This place is such a disappointment.

When I went to order there, there were so many red flags.

It looks like a knockoff of Real Fruit. It has the nice dried wood walls around the store. But the back is white tiled kitchen and its messy.

They forgot to put a lid on the mango slush bubble tea for the customer before me. She had to ask three times before they realized.

After I ordered mine the worker took a used bin out of the sink, sniffed it and then put my mangoes inside. I had just seen water sloshed around from all other works in that sink.

I specifically said no tapioca, they proceeded to place the most tapioca ever.

The mango slush tasted terrible. So many tiny air bubbles felt like the texture of spit.

The only upside was the tapioca, though I dislike tapioca in my fruit slushies. The tapioca was fresh.

The thing is bubble tea is about presentation and cleanliness as much as it is also about flavour. Like other drink vendors you see the vendors making the drink right in front of you. In the case of Real Fruit the fruits are sliced and processed for all the customers to see. This particular bubble tea place looks the opposite of fresh. That visual seeps into the drink.

The drink itself is clearly made with more water and sugar than normal. The resulting texture is a drink with many micro bubbles. It honestly feels gross...

Multiple errors at this place. The place wasn't busy so we got in line behind the only person in line. Waited almost 10 minutes for him to be taken care of before even taking our order, we then ordered 3 drinks which took over 20 minutes to make. One girl just stood there by the register and watched, even others lined up and she just stood there. My son's drink tasted horrible nothing like Watermelon and mine came without the tapioca I asked and paid for. I complained about it and she just said you drink is already finished and she couldn't add it. I asked for a new drink and she wanted to charge me again. The people behind us were somehow getting their drinks and I never got my third one yet...I just said forget the 3rd drink give me my money back for that and the one you messed up....

I can honestly say im a regular customer for years! My son is the biggest fan of not just any real fruit but mainly this location because of the staff! Every day $7.33 mango slush has brought me so much joy as my son is non verbal and now runs to the store to talk with the staff there! And he is actually saying words! Not only the drinks are amazing, they have staff with such great customers service that goes beyond just selling a drink. Its my pleasure always only at parkway mall real fruit location! There is one guy there, the only guy there he is so friendly and the female staff , the young ladies are always smiling ! Almost 3 years never a bad experience! Thank you Real fruit with the real genuine customers service! U guys are the best! I will be...
