Ordered from this restaurant on Just Eat but for some reason it didn't post my comments so I thought I'd include them on here.

Wish I read the reviews before ordering from here. Ordered the Chef's Pizza, Salto Burger, Italian Sausage, and Penne Carbonara . First of all, delivery was over 30 minutes late, we called and they said they left 15 minutes ago, and we continued to wait for 15 more minutes before the food arrived. The driver made a joke about the food being made from scratch to make up for the lateness; I was hoping the quality of the food would make up for the timing and I was incredibly disappointed.

The pizza was tasteless. It looked great, but tasted like nothing; no flavour at all. The burger was okay, nothing special. The buns were too thin and the meat to bun ratio was way off. The pasta was okay, the portion size was good but if I wanted to eat a plate full of noodles I wouldn't pay $12 for it. The other ingredients they include in the pasta entree description are highly lacking. The sausages were the best part of the entire order, but who can't cook a sausage?

Will never order from here again; extremely...

It may not be busy (yet!) but this gem of a restaurant is well worth visiting! The menu is a touch small, but they clearly prize quality over quantity. Had a plate of cheese, bread, salami, prosciutto, and olives to start. Ridiculously good and as someone who hates olives I was surprised to find I didn't mind these ones. I would've taken a picture but it was so delicious that our table finished before I got a chance! For my main I had chicken with a creamy mushroom sauce on top of rice. The chicken was so tender I could've eaten that alone and been happy. Plus, if you love mushrooms then this sauce will send you to mushroom heaven. Mix it with the rice, add a bit of chicken and enjoy. Definitely worth trying this meal at least once! The staff were excellent; they talked and joked with us every time they came to the table. The front window was open letting in a nice breeze and it was a quiet place other than a little chatter from a couple other patrons and the music playing - perfect to have a chat without being drowned...

Wings & pizza are mediocre at best. Server brings 1 napkin per person for WINGS...you know the food you eat with your hands and get all saucy? Service is terrible. Female server does not know how to serve by any stretch of the imagination. She NEVER looks around to see if customers are trying to get her attention. She doesn't even come to the table ever. Doesn't bring items requested numerous times. She sure brings the bill right away though! I asked for the menu and asked her to return in a few minutes so I can place an order...of course she never returned and frequented the same table constantly.

No way this is an Italian restaurant. I eat Italian food often and their pizza tastes like a frozen pizza at the store. The sausage on the pizza was awful. I'd choose Pizza Pizza over...

The portions were quite small when I ordered delivery. I wanted to have a big pig out feast before I start back on my diet tomorrow so I ordered a pizza and a gnocchi hoping to put myself into a food coma. The gnocchi was an extremely small portion, I actually laughed when I saw it 9 pieces of gnocchi granted they were a little larger than the normal size. It tasted pretty good a touch dense maybe, the pizza had tasty toppings, I wasn't a huge fan of the crust but to each their own. Long story short I ordered a pizza and pasta, ate it myself and was actually still hungry afterwards. The quality was above average but the portions were way too small for my liking.

Me and my wife pass this cute little Italian family restaurant Salto on our daily evening walks. The place always looked inviting and I frequently said to my wife we should have a meal here sometime. Yesterday was that day, we impromptu decided to have our dinner here at Salto. We ordered Chicken scallopini (Chicken breast in a white sauce with mushrooms and penne pasta) and pasta of the day Penne pasta in vodka sauce. And we were not disappointed! Salto knows what they are doing and you can tell that they know how to make their customers happy. Salto is ideal for a romantic night out or for beers out with friends.
