Came here for the Stop Farmers' Market, which takes place every Saturday. The vendors here sell a variety of goods, including mochi (Japanese rice cakes), fresh bread, vegetables, fish, candles, and chocolate. I mainly came for the mochi daifuku, which is sold by Natural JapanEats. They have a range of flavours to choose from and the flavours change every week. I bought a box of 6 daifuku for $26. The flavours I got were coconut, sakura leaf, fig cream, matcha, and pomelo. They all tasted delicious and fresh. Natural JapanEats also sells kiri mochi and sushi. The women working at the booth were very friendly. I'm glad that I got to try their products because fresh mochi can be hard to find in Toronto, especially mochi in unique flavours. There is no parking lot. Street parking is the only option. The staff are there to over look and aid in your needs as in most event places that rent space.
If you locate to the area I would say it's good option for a event. Nonetheless if I had to come in from out of town you will be meet by construction and alot of foot traffic...
