Scarborough Swim Club

Their terrible communication method lead to wasted of our time and money. They sent everyone an email with a form to fill up apparently somewhere in October, a month after class had started. The email for some reason got ignored or ended up in our junk mail. However, my kids have been going to this class for many months now and no one told us that we had to fill up the form so far. There was no reminder with email or verbal. Today (November 6th) we were about 5 min early to the class and standing beside teachers. Again they said nothing to us. However, right after they are taking kids to the pool they are telling my kids that they cannot go to the pool for “Liability” reasons!!!! I called my husband who was the person receiving emails. Apparently they had just send their first and only reminder today but my husband had not checked his personal email, because it is still working hours and he is on the way back home. He had to stop on the side of the road to fill up this forms. I asked Ethan (the supervisor) to please let my kids attend their class while my husband is filling the forms but the “gentleman” said no! There is liability issue! I wonder how come all these sessions there was no liability issue and how come there was no other reminders so-far, and how come they did not tell me right when they saw us before taking kids to the pool?! Just last week my husband had talked to them so during that conversation they could have told us that we had missed to fill their form.Anyways, We left , because the class is only 30 min. Of course I am not letting my kids to get wet only for 15 min of swimming. This Gentleman could let my kids swim today and while my husband was filling the form for them. Or they had to send a reminder earlier in the season and when they saw us many times they could have at least once mention the form verbally. I didn’t like this gentleman’s attitude and the way he used this opportunity to prove his power upon us!
