I recently ordered lunch for my workplace for our end of year celebration from scottybon, and from start to finish, it was seamless.

The online ordering system was user-friendly, and the menu was packed with enticing options. Each dish arrived perfectly packaged, hot, and beautifully presented—a sign of the care they put into every order. What truly impressed me, however, was the extraordinary customer service from William the manager. Shortly after placing my order, I received a call from him to confirm a special request I had made regarding dietary preferences. William’s attention to detail and willingness to accommodate made me feel valued as a customer. William went out of his way to call me and triple checked to ensure my order was correct. When the food arrived everything was packed and very well organized. He was very generous with the portions and the quality of food was better than I excepted. The quality and quantity of food surprised me, as other places are cutting back on their portion but not at this scottybon’s location. It didn’t stop there. The manager took the time to call me to ask about my experience with scottybon and if I was satisfied with the service and food. That level of care and thoughtfulness is something you rarely see, especially in the takeout industry. I highly recommend scottybon to anyone looking for an exceptional takeout experience. A huge thank you to the manager William and the entire team for their hard work and dedication. You’ve gained a loyal customer, and I can’t wait to...

This was the most disappointing "Caribbean" food I've ever had. The outside looks appealing but that's about it. We ordered the stuffed sandwich with a patty and the oxtail. Although the stuffed sandwich wasn't terrible, none of the ingredients went together. However the oxtail was absolutely terrible. I've never had such bland tasting (pretty much flavourless), tough, stale and boney oxtail. If you're going to serve oxtail, which is pretty much a delicacy in Jamaica, make sure you do it right or don't do it at all. It was like consuming water... that's how flavourless it was and oxtail is supposed to be FULL of flavour. Even the veggies didn't have flavour. It's all brown coloured but that's about it. The rice was very mushy and having the oxtail "gravy" made it worse because again it had zero flavour and didn't help with the mushiness. The coleslaw was also pretty flavourless. Never stepping foot in this restaurant again and I recommend if you're looking for authentic Carribbean food that you look elsewhere cause this wasn't it. Go to Eglinton and Oakwood, there's plenty of authentic restaurants there that are usually family owned and operated and have been in business for 20+ years (and for...

Don’t be fooled. They get people to write 5 star reviews for a free drink. I went in and had ordered enough food for them not to be stingy but the girl at the front serving would act like she’s putting ingredients in my food but also just take them back out. The bowls also aren’t filled like they use to be. Then you’re surprised to see you aren’t tipped? I asked for a bit more corn and she threw 4 pieces of corn in while taking the rest back to the ingredient bin. Also, told me she’d have to charge me $1 if I wanted more after I called her out. So pathetic! I spent close to $50 within 5 minutes and you couldn’t add corn!? What a joke. How can you keep a customer base if you’re going to serve us like we’re fools. Little corn isn’t going to make or break you when you don’t even fill up the bowls anymore. This left such a bad taste in my mouth for this establishment. I’ve been going to many Scotty bons locations from Scarborough to Toronto to even the Brampton one. But definitely the worst! Do better. Or train your employees. At the time I came in there was a gentleman and two...

Went in for quick grabs and was so happy we did. Limited seating, just a couple of bar stools along the wall by the window. The store was clean and staff was friendly. They had a promotion for sandwich and drink under $10.00 Tried the Jerk chicken, typically I am not a fan but this was delicious, there as a Smokey flavour to the chicken, paired with sides it was a tasty, the portions were generous too. Secondly, had the bbq chicken sandwich, the only comment was that I wish they added more slaw. This was tasty as well. Third, a friend of mine got the vegetarian roti, the portion was large, the curry was flavourful. Now the star had to be the patty in my opinion, you could tell it was fresh, the filling inside was seasoned so well. Overall, this particular cuisine isn’t my go to but now that I have tasted the food at this place, I’m sort of sad that there isn’t one closer to home. I have been craving that patty! 10/10

2737 Keele St Unit 28 North York A week ago, I went to Scotty Bons and was delighted to try their menu. I got 2 orders rice and peas with one of them being jerk chicken and the other Oxtail with extra sauce on both with various sides. I got one for my mother and the other for myself and they looked wonder but tasted awful. The rice and peas had no flavour on their own and the jerk chicken had extra jerk sauce on but still had no taste. The oxtail one had good pieces but again there was no flavour in that on as well. A lot of oxtail gravy was put on it and it still was not good. It was about 5pm when I got them so I can’t say it was the bottom of the barrel. I spent $40 in total to find out that nothing tasted good and only the presentation was wonderful which lead this experience at scotty bons to be more “More sizzle than Steak”.

My husband has been wanting to try this place for a while as it seems so popular but I didn’t think there was anything for vegetarians to eat so we never tried it. Yesterday our friends planned to come and we agreed. I brought my own vegetarian patty thinking there was nothing for me to eat and was pleasantly surprised when I arrived and found that they had a few options for me. I decided on the veggie roti and was not disappointed. The food was absolutely phenomenal and everyone else loved their food as well. The ladies working were super patient and kind, the restaurant was clean and the prices were typical for a take out food place. I would recommend trying the food here at least once, it’s great!
